Mona Peach

Got inspired today, and was thinking on making a drawing to frame and put it in my room's main wall since i could clean it and get more space. Ended up making this parody :>

Took me approximately 5 hours, and two fingers, that shouldn't be used in at least 3 days :o. It took me a lot since i wanted it to match the background with the original one, but with Mario themed sprites.

It was absolutely worth it, though i was supposed to use this afternoon to study, i couldn't resist this. :>

Just coloured pencils and ballpoint pen, as always. Going to frame this possibly by friday. :>

I guess it looks like the original, if you squint and turn your head...

Of course, Larka :>, Leo's my nickname, if you want to call me by that, too :>

Well, at least it resembles the original. The mountains in the original are the mountains in those, the road, forest, but some parts are just plain different, because it wasn't truly supposed to be a perfect copy of it. Also because of the fact i didn't draw this looking at the picture, but spent some time before drawing analyzing the original one. :o

Ooooh, that's gorgeous! I love it. :3 I would totally hang this on my wall too. Only thing that irks me is that her eyes are too far apart but still brilliantly made. <3

That's just too adorable! If Mona Lisa were ever expanded upon, and then Mario-fied, this is definitely what would come of it. Wonderful job, Leo.

Thanks guys! :>
That's one of the reasons it didn't come up a lot like the original, because Monalisa is more vertical, and after i was done with Peach, she was too small, and the paper was too horizontal to fit the Monalisa portrait, so, had to build up a lot of the background. Smile
