Oh boy, I'm actually very interested to see what happens come tomorrow. If they don't roll back, the economy is frucked and the hackers win again. If they do, tons of people are going to rage. I'd say the most likely scenario is a rollback to 12:01am friday morning and the standard 2x event/5k maple point compensation.

I'm actually shocked that they have let something like this run rampant for SO long. 10 bucks says they actually are planning a RB and are simply analyzing accounts from the friday/saturday snapshot in the mean time. This has legitimately been going on for so long.

The perfect pitch chaos exploit already ruined chaos scrolls, this just dug a bigger grave.

If I remember right, the meso exploit in December lasted 48+ hours. That was primarily because they decided it was unnecessary to have anyone work during the holidays and that it's fine to leave hackers unmonitored. I'm sure similar reasons for today as well. After all, why work on MapleStory when it's Mother's Day?

From what I've read, it sounds like it was found Monday (or maybe it was Tuesday) and then released publicly on Thursday evening. Chaos scroll prices plummeted on Saturday morning.
