So how has this coin exploit effected you?

Well, it convinced me to chaos the last slot on my cape... (had a chaos in my inventory, decided better off not having it)

Which failed, so nothing was gained.

I did something much stupider. Had 8 or so chaos left over on a mule, was waiting for them to actually be worth something before I sold them. So since htats obviously not going to happen, I used them on my BMs chaos helm.

Not only did only 2 of them work, the 2 that did dragged it down by 11 useful (str/dex) stats in total.And the int stayed the same, the luk dropped even more than the dex/str. Bah humbug.

Like ^^ and ^^^, I've just been logging on to get the stamp for the past few days.

Have things like this not happened in the past multiple times? Anyone with a better memory mind refreshing me?
HT hacking deflating skillbooks, I swear there was a Chaos exploit some time ago too.

It makes me sick and I want to cry. I can't even mind my own business in this game and go to sell any kind of drops in the FM without them being horrendously deflated. There's pages of weapons in MTS, there goes selling spares for NX. No point in selling things now, the event is still happening. With the amount of people botting/farming it's going to be probably till next April before the price on Maple weapons increases enough to justify selling.
Really I want to go there and show them, say "see, this is how your game is being ruined" but I'm not sure anyone there would care.

Looks like it's going to be another long effort before I can have enough money to properly afford an Elemental Staff.

Same for almost everything in this game now.. Only noticable source of mesos i have left is HT, which hackers and the glitch that has been unfixed for half a year dont help.
Unless your loaded with nx or a hacker this game is getting worse and worse patch.

None. Quit MS years ago. NL's gears are still up, but I won't sell anything on my NL or even bother to hop on it.

By not caring about this piece of pomegranate event. I've hunted some maple weapons and glad I sold them before this happened. Thought I'd make more, but no Nexon won't stop the freaking hackers.

Guess it's a good thing I haven't been on.

Still training, and hoping that won't get undone with a rollback.
Hoping the kids in my alliance and bl going chaos-happy, scrolling every piece of junk in sight, won't get unjustly punished by Nexon.

I have said before, it's like we're watching the maple designers "grow up"... I'm almost certain some of them are younger than me.

As they perfect their craft their code will get better and they will be less susceptable to crap like this.

Made about 3bil, Stored equips in MTS, gained 3bil.

All I can think of is, "At least they were smart enough to not make white scrolls buyable this time."

This hasn't really affected me directly: I still sell items in FM and I haven't touched chaos scrolls. I guess my DPS will become lower compared to the "average" player and the prices of things might inflate a little, but overall this hasn't affected me- the limited supply of PACs, BFC, pharoah belts, and other attack items are to thank for that.

True, it isn't needed, but if you had worked your butt off in order to legitimately obtain X quantity of item Y, in order to make enough money to upgrade equipment Z, you'd be upset if suddenly, due to exploits, thousands of item Y were being introduced to the market, driving down its value to the point where you'd need to work your butt off three or four times as long as you had beforehand, just to get back to where you started at. And THAT, is one of the main reasons why people are stressing. Due to the actions of a bunch of selfish hackers, their hard work has become meaningless.

I guess my 19 attack khanjar I so proudly chaosed is worth alot less now, but that's about it. I'm not touching chaos scrolls with a five foot pole untill they finished banning people so all I could lose is a few % if they would somehow decide to do a rollback (which I hope they do).

Hmm, no real impact here, I only bothered with a single 77 weapon in its 3 stat potential form (and this was before Hyper Cubes mind you) and the Power Pendant (Also 3 stat potential) and now that I have it, this event matters little anymore since the things given are so... unrewarding. EXP Pendant - Expires in 24 hours, not too great with LHC. Maple Leaf - Expires after 24 hours, sucks. Anniversary Scrolls - I am risk adverse and my luck of failing a 1st slot enhancement scroll on reverse equipment tells me to stay away. Chair - Got it before.

I guess the biggest impact is these weekend days where I am training little to none because Nexon will not know about this until Monday, in which there is possibly trollback (Again, not a risk taker to keep training).
