I'd rather not bump the Funhouse thread for this. This is for talking about the newest season, and obviously all spoilers are to be in tags, etc.

Saw episode 2 today, and all I have to say is... what the pineapple is going on o_o

The series is just absolutely epic so far, as usual.

Most successful and longest running sci-fi television series ever (not an exaggeration, as it's in the Guiness Book of World Records). Revolves around time and space travel inside a blue police box and many brilliant shenanigans occur. Titled Doctor Who due to the main character being simply named as The Doctor, with no real name.

Only seen the first episode so far, I'll catch the second one later. So far they seem to really be trying to outdo their last season, and in general mess with people's minds. XP

That's still funhouse material last time I checked.

It's still very poor form to go into a thread that's clearly talking about the latest happenings of a show, and then you walk in and ask what it's about. If you tried this on a bigger forum I'm sure you'd get laughed/flamed to death (metaphorically speaking). Heck, you may even get accused of being a troll.

If you're going to go ask something of a newbie level, you could have at least asked something pertaining to the current episode/discussion.

You have Google to get a crash course at anything; it's right there. If a friend of mines IMs me something I have no idea what it's about, I go Google it really quick before responding. Saves the trouble of looking stupid, and your friend won't have to waste time explaining the subject to you. At the very least if you still got it wrong you will be corrected, but not looked down upon for being ignorant.

tl;dr version: Don't go asking the most basic of questions that shows you clearly have no idea what the subject is about when it can be Googled.

I'm following Game of Thrones too. First episode was sort of meh, but it seems to be getting better.

Just watched Episode 2, watching Episode 3 shortly. Things just keep getting weirder, but at the same time, I feel like what is already an epic storyline will get more epic if things keep going like they have been.

Who said it'd the Doctor's daughter? Some wild mass guessing in my mind is saying the energies of the Time Vortex affected Rory and Amys daughter's genetic makeup to the point she has part Time Lord DNA from being exposed to Time Energy before she's born.
