Octo believed you to be the doctor so he tried to kill you again where your own protection came into play, but if he had looked harder at the flavor (In fact, everyone missed it) it should have been obvious you weren't.

While I was trying to decide between Corn, you and Dual on who to kill I decided on you just because the mafia wasn't able to do it before.

If you had killed Dual you might have won since Dual's death also means my death, and then people might never have thought to wiki you.

Here's the postgame write-up... I'm inclined to agree with Infection, though I decided that when the game started after CJ got the cop role. I just knew he would do well with it, and I was right. As you'll see further down, he actually successfully targeted all three mafians, but octo correctly blocked him on Night 2. You guys had a bit of luck there, but the rest of the luck (Shidoshi twice, CJ once) did not go your way. It happens. Still, good game by all.

BTW, this role list has potential roles in it that were unused. The extras were mostly vanilla except for the 4th mafian role.

Major Sherman “Doc” Cottle, MD
You are a hopelessly addicted smoker (lolz, amirite?), known as “Doc” Cottle around the battlestar. You’re the ship’s doctor, so, guess what you do? If you guessed “kill children,” you are wrong! You’re the town doctor, and you get to pick one person each night who you will attempt to save from death! Cannot target the same person two nights in a row. You are town aligned, and win if nobody but townies remain.

Admiral William Adama
You are the military leader of the remaining humans and their fleet. You are a badass and as such, you are able to secretly influence the vote counter to get your vote to count twice. Tl;dr you are the mayor. You are town aligned, and win if nobody but townies remain.

Colonel Saul Tigh
You are Admiral William Adama’s second-in-command, and you are also a rip-roarin’ drunk. Your secret semi for Adama is so profound that, if he is lynched or nightkilled, you will get extremely drunk and go on a murderous rampage the following night cycle. In the event this happens, you get to PM me one (JUST one) person’s name, and they will most likely, probably, but not definitely die – you’re going to be plastered off your ass, so there’s a small chance you kill the wrong person. Whoops, lulz! P.S. This ain’t one of those formal lover roles – you have no idea of Adama’s secret identity, nor him of yours, and y’all can’t communicate privately even if you figure it out. It turns out, you actually are! If you die, you will be reborn 2 full cycles after you are killed, providing the game is still going on. As such, after you die, you’re not allowed to talk about the game to anybody who’s still playing, as learning anything about other players could potentially upset the game’s balance upon your return. You are town aligned, and win if nobody but townies remain.

Captain Lee “Apollo” Adama
You are Admiral William Adama’s son, and as such, you’re kind of a badass in your own right. You’re an awesome Viper pilot, and if the Cylons try to kill you, their first attempt will fail as you gun down their puny fightercraft and cackle with glee. The second time, though, they’ll kill you in your sleep. Ouch. You are town aligned, and win if nobody but townies remain.

You’re a woman! LOLZ! J/K, actually, after the destruction of the 12 colonies, you evolved from lowly 43rd-in-line-for-the-presidency Secretary of Education to the goddamn President herself. Got sworn in with the Scrolls of Pythia and all that pomegranate. Being, along with Admiral Adama, humanity’s lone shining beacon of hope, you’ve become pretty pineappleing beloved. If you get killed, the next day cycle after your death will be skipped because people will be too busy bawling at your funeral. You are town aligned, and win if nobody but townies remain.

Karl “Helo” Agathon
You are a badass Raptor pilot/soldier. During the initial facerolling of the twelve colonies, you gave up your seat on your two-man Raptor ship in order to afford an extra refugee a place on one of the last ships off Caprica, the capital planet. Touched by this, your co-pilot Sharon Valerii came back to look for you, and in the process of helping you escape the Cylon-occupied world, she fell in love with you. This was kind of awesome, because you already loved her. So, you got married and pomegranate after getting back to the fleet. Funny story, it turns out Sharon was a Cylon all along and the copy you married was not the same one you knew pre-genocide of humanity! But you decided to not care about this because she’s basically the same person and is unquestionably loyal to you and humanity in general due to her love for you. You know your lover’s true identity, but you’re not allowed to talk to her privately. Tough cookies. If Sharon gets killed at any point during gameplay, you will be so heartbroken (in a manly way of course) that you will commit suicide the following night. You are town aligned, and win if nobody but townies remain.

Sharon “Athena” Agathon
You are a sneaky little Cylon! You’re so sneaky that you willingly exploited a guy who loved a different copy of you in order to gain access to the Colonial Fleet of vagabond survivors. However, your plan ran into an unexpected hiccup – you fell in love with him! This guy, Karl “Helo” Agathon, is apparently infinite levels of charming and awesome because you abandoned your Cylon brethren and pledged your allegiance to the humans all because of your love for him. You know your lover’s secret identity, but you’re not allowed to talk to him privately. Tough cookies. If Karl gets killed at any point during gameplay, you will be so heartbroken that you will commit suicide the following night. You are town aligned, and win if nobody but townies remain.

Lieutenant Felix Gaeta
You are pretty much a genius, your intelligence is only surpassed by Dr. Gaius Baltar, who is probably the smartest person left in the human race. That makes you number two! That ain’t bad. You can use your impressive sleuthing and deducing skills once each night to discover the role and true allegiance of a player. Tl;dr you’re the detective/cop. You are town aligned, and win if nobody but townies remain.

Petty Officer Crew Specialist 2nd Class Anastasia Dualla
You are the person that makes everything go onboard Galactica. You relay incoming and outgoing messages between the Galactica and other ships within the fleet, including messages from Viper and Raptor pilots on patrols/missions. Since you are kind of important for getting things done, every night you can choose one person’s messages to prioritize. This person will gain a boost in the order of action priorities for that night. You are town aligned, and win if nobody but townies remain.

Chief Galen “Chief” Tyrol
You are so lame that your nickname is actually your job title. Kudos for that. However, you are also an awesome mechanic and know how to make all sorts of sweet mods to your battlestar’s Vipers and Raptors. You can target one person each night to perform repairs. If they are a Viper pilot, you will attach a sweet mod to their ship which will allow them to perform a single night kill, or if they already had a night kill ability, an additional kill for one night. Cannot target the same player more than once in the game. If a non-Viper pilot is targeted, nothing happens. You are town aligned, and win if nobody but townies remain.

Mod note: If Starbuck, Apollo, Kat or Hot Dog is targeted, they gain a one-shot night kill usable at any time.

Lieutenant Louanne “Kat” Katraine
You are the colonial fleet’s Top Gun Viper pilot. That’s right, you’re Maverick. It wasn’t always like this, you had to start out as a rook and work your way up. Sadly, I have no idea who your Goose is, if you even have one. Even more sadly, besides being totally badass, you have no special powers. You are town aligned, and win if nobody but townies remain.

The Cylon invasion just killed off pretty much all of your direct competition. Due to your superior intellect, you figure that it’s in your best interest to look out for your own best interests, as nobody will understand the crazy pomegranate that you see in your head. Did I forget to mention that you keep hallucinating about this hot blond trick you used to see before Caprica got blown up? And that she just so happened to be a Cylon who tricked you into betraying the entire human race? Yeah, suffice it to say, you’re looking out for number one from here on out. That crazy hallucination I mentioned before seems to be omniscient or something, by the way, as she occasionally provides you with information that would be impossible to know otherwise. So that’s helpful. You’re also able to use your considerable reputation to influence people into doing what you tell them to do. And, if it comes right down to it, you’ll straight up kill someone if it means self-preservation. You are neutral, and win if you are the last remaining player. You have the following abilities: Will receive a flavor result about a random player each night. Can PM me each night to redirect [Target 1]’s action onto [Target 2]. Can perform one, and only one, nightkill which may or may not have insane priority. Be careful about when you choose to use that last one.

Mod note: Neutralgai. Gets random flavor cop result each night, has busdriver ability, and one-shot nightkill with priority for a situation in which he actually manages to survive til the end but would lose to a nightkill. If you get that far as a neutral you goddamn deserve an ace-in-the-hole for the win.

You are a “skinjob” Cylon, or a human-looking robot. Kinda like a really convincing android or cyborg. You can target one person each night to seduce, and they won’t be able to do pomegranate about it they’ll be so maddeningly turned on –even women! They also will not do whatever they were planning to do before you got your hands on them. You are mafia aligned, and win if the number of mafians remaining is greater than or equal to the remaining town players. Additionally, if there is a neutral, they have to be dead for you to win.

You are a sentient organic/metallic hybrid spacecraft designed by the Cylons to be their main spacefaring fighting force. You are one of billions, maybe even trillions, however you are different. More than any other of your kind, you have excelled at completely owning human Viper pilots, especially those delicious “Chicken McNuggets” or whatever they call their pilot n00bs. You’ve died and been re-incarnated so many times that death has become a learning experience for you, and you’ve become an expert in the art of war. On any night, the mafia can designate you to perform their nightkill, making it immune to any roleblocking or doctor protections. However, this will cause your team to forfeit its kill the following night. You are mafia aligned, and win if the number of mafians remaining is greater than or equal to the remaining town players. Additionally, if there is a neutral, they have to be dead for you to win.

Your clairvoyance allows you to receive a bit of information about a random player each night. You are mafia aligned, and win if the number of mafians remaining is greater than or equal to the remaining town players. Additionally, if there is a neutral, they have to be dead for you to win.

You are a “skinjob” Cylon, or a human-looking robot. Kinda like a really convincing android or cyborg. As long as you’re never seen in the same room as one of your sisters (exact copies), they will never know you are not human. Your humanity alibi is that you were a reporter before you and your buddies beat the snot out of humanity. So, in order to keep up appearances, you’re gonna keep acting like a reporter in the Colonial fleet. Each night, you can PM me a message which can pretty much say whatever you want and it will be incorporated into the flavor text somehow, as a “news report.” You are mafia aligned, and win if the number of mafians remaining is greater than or equal to the remaining town players. Additionally, if there is a neutral, they have to be dead for you to win.

Shidoshi: Tonight, you see Shidoshi talking with Admiral Adama. There is a friendly, almost familial radiance to their interaction./Six does not mince words when she visits you this night. “Admiral Adama’s son is a threat,” she hisses. “Shidoshi must be watched closely!”

Kurtle: Your dream tonight is of Kurtle, piloting a Viper on patrol around the fleet, chasing off a would-be Cylon raid. Her combat prowess, fearlessness and stubbornness fill you with admiration./Six appears and tells you, “Kurtle is a fearless warrior, and she has a destiny written in the stars. Her power is great.”

Synthesist: A vision brought to you on this night shows Synthesist, sitting in her bunk, coughing weakly as she reviews a proposed new law. She looks pale and sickly./”Synthesist is the heart of the fleet,” Six tells you. “If you destroy her, the colonists will lose hope.”

DualReaver: Tonight you are bestowed a vision of DualReaver, a robust Raptor pilot, with his cylon lover./”DualReaver is nothing but a grunt Raptor pilot,” Six explains. “Not worth your concern.”

Holypie: You dream tonight of Holypie, one of your kin. However, this Holypie has begun a tryst with one of the humans, and she is no longer an ally to you./”She betrayed her own kind,” Six hisses. “but other than abandoning the Cylons for a human Holypie is of no concern to you.”

ChaoticCJ: You see ChaoticCJ, seated in front of a computer screen, poring over data files. The collar of his officer’s jacket is loosened for comfort./”ChaoticCJ is the smartest person on this ship other than you,” Six tells you. “This may tempt you to use him, but I would advise against it – his position close to Adama’s side makes him dangerous.”

NoJobNoRules: You see NoJobNoRules, a beautiful young technician, tirelessly working at her post, directing Galactica’s comm traffic./”NoJobNoRules is simply a message-carrier, do not waste your time worrying over her,” Six recommends.

xBTAx: You see xBTAx working in the docking bay, lying prone underneath the hull of a Viper./”xBTAx is a skiled mechanic. Keep an eye on him, as he is very resourceful,” Six councels you.

ElectricSix: A vision of ElectricSix appears to you. He is in his lab, testing vials full of strange chemicals. Although he is clearly alone, he is talking to someone.

Octopusprime: “Be wary,” Six says. “Though she appears to be like me, this one will not hesitate to kill you.”

Infection: “Infection is unstable, he claims to have visions of the future. He is also a threat to humans, which means he is a threat to you,” Six warns.

TheBirds: “TheBirds is not actually a reporter,” Six reveals. “Don’t you remember? She used to host the nightly news back on Caprica. But, she was in-studio when the nukes hit – right at ground zero. Shouldn’t she be dead, Gaius?”

Didn't even think to kill him. Guess I should have been smarter and assumed that killing a President would depress everyone causing them not to vote.

Well it's not even that, Synthesist almost got lynched near the end too. If you had killed Dual, that lynch might have gone through and you still would have gotten your 3-for-1. Like I said, just some bad luck.

I had planned to try and get Dual lynched since he got Meta lynched, but you started the day earlier than I thought you would causing me not to even say anything.

Oh well, it was fun for my first time on the mafia side. I'll take what I learned from this game and use it in the next in case I end up on the mafia or a neutral.
