Oh wow. That's absolutely hilarious. I ought to do that once PSN gets back up.

MvC3 is ass offline. Even more ass offline when you have the event active where you can only do damage in arcade mode with team aerial combos. Practice mode with Hard/Very Hard is boring as hell, and I don't get to unlock any artwork/3 slideshow endings.

Realized today all I had to do was clear the event once and it would go away. Settled with Dormammu (Dark Hole), Tron (Gustaff Fire), and Sentinel (Rocket Punch) as my team for now.

Hoping strider makes it into "super" mvc3. I also want to see gambit come back

Capcom said before Strider had licensing issues around him, since they don't fully own him. Hopefully they can get that matter sorted, I did like playing him as well.

Oh, well I do hope they get that straightened out.

The matching deal in this game is funky. I think Karen said it in an earlier page.

I heard it was:

- Amateur
- Fighter to 5th Lord/Ranger/Scout/Judge
- 4th Lord/Ranger/Scout/Judge to 1st Lord/Ranger/Scout/Judge
- etc

Holy crap, 2/3 chars are ones I use. Glad to see some of my favorite characters being used like this.

Ammy and zero are beyond OU :\ or atleast they were the first month of the game, I don't see them much anymore but that's probably since I'm not playing beginner/ amateur ranks anymore. They were very popular when I was.

A bit frustrated right now.... I know doctor doom very well on paper but can't seem to apply his skills in an actual game. I think I'm going to take a break from my sig'd team and try working on a secondary one I thought would be fun: Shulk (torpedo), dante (jam session), tron (gustaff)

Tried out super skrull for the first time today and wow I'm really liking him as a 2nd character. Right now I'm trying to run Wesker (samurai edge), Skrull (tenderizer), Doom/Mags (beam). Skrull sets up so many easy combos/ dhcs after an air series and wesker OTG. I can even level 3 while skrull is pounding them or just go for maxmimum wesker, but the damage isn't so great on that.

I'm not sure if I should use wesker or mags. I'll probably go with mags because he's higher tier and easier for now I guess. I'm playing really bad online anyway and I can't afford to drop my doom combos as an anchor.

Skrull wins with his grab. I also run him as a second character.

Usually, he comes in after having Viper do a combo into Burst Time, enter Inferno. That almost always kills one of the opponents, and when their next character comes in, I immediately go for his M grab, dash, L Tenderizer, dash, Launch, MH, Inferno/Aerial Exchange and continue with Viper.

Wow viper and skrull have a lot of synergy :f6:. Too bad viper is ass vs randoms online....

my bread and butter with skrull right now is L,M, c.H, S, M, M, H, S, land, dash forward, jump, air d+H, dash (if not in corner),S, M, M, H, air inferno. Combo does insane damage, especially considering how easy it is to do. (667K)

For some reason it does about 20k more if you start the combo only with crouching H. I'm guessing it's a scaling thing.

I'd really like to see someone like doctor strange or black panther in the supposed upcoming, improved marvel.

Wow I picked up iron man again after a LONG time since I'm ass with doom and magneto and wow I'm so much better with him now than the other two >_>. He's also 10x cooler than them...
I just dislike how limited his combo options are. I have to say though, it's hilarious to use my counter hyper as wesker and fail it, then they try to run to me and punish only to get owned by me DHCing it proton cannon and they get hit by the startup.

I can't get in on his deadpool for crap... and dorms flame carpet made me cringe.

i just got mvc3 for the ps3 2 days ago and the game is crazy.. I have so much to learn i cant even handle very hard yet >_>
