WHAT THE F'UCK IS THIS pomegranate?

Dunno. Hopefully that's not the image they'll use for the English release (especially since they show the JP packaging at ~10 seconds in).

...I can see that. I've visited that page. I've seen your screenshot of that page. I have seen that URL in said screenshot. I was saying that I hope that's not the image they use for all English-speaking Miku things.

why do I never understand what you say

Yeah they just talked about this on AXLive. They're thinking about incorporating the Miku mascot into North America because of Vocaloid! possibly soon being brought over here. Just Japan influencing American companies. It's working.

Wouldn't be surprised actually. They want to appeal to westerners (everything needs to be manly) while also keeping true to her original design for the fans. So how do you find an in-between? Get a western comic artist or something to draw it, all they know how to draw are manly men and manly women.

Speaking of that, someone pointed something out to me: it's probably a western comic artist drawing it, but... they traced/copied Tony Taka's design.

North America is becoming Japan?!? Wooo!

But our teenage girls and boys are too busy f'ucking to become like japan.

Tony Taka's design really isn't that easy to copy though, imo. He puts a lot of details into his works, though I can see why you'd say that. The details are just too "AMURIKA", they ruined Miko's image with something like that. The commercial doesn't bug me at all, but it's that one drawing of her that irks me.

Not possibly. Definitely. Crypton already said they're in the works of making an English language Miku.

It'll change man.

Miku's world domination plan is almost complete. D:

English...language...Miku. Interesting...

And agreed about that drawing. Dude might be a good artist, but damn she looks... freaky.

Anyway, looking forward to the N.America reactions. Even my animeho self felt weird seeing Miku in a Toyota commercial. I think the fact that the commercial was in English was what made things look even more out of place though. Tongue
