Elsword USA Open Beta Announced!
Dark Link Wrote:Not entirely, but it IS a rather damn shame that we don't have those quests in the game yet. They better release another SP reset once they implement them into the game, because most of the main MK skills are "Locked" skills. Either that or I'll just stockpile my SP indefinitely until then lol

Also the last quest for the MK advancement was a freaking pain. The drop rate seemed absurdly low and I only got the item on the LAST Wally guardian of the day during my 3rd run, I hit 0% Stamina.

I got the item at first try. i r pro now? Tongue

Btw looking some good MK Builds Tongue

Frown
It wasn't too bad in the end I guess. Made me hit level 21 at least. I would have liked it to NOT be down to the wire though.

I hated the part of killing 8 Huge bros since only 2 spawned per run >.>

Or getting the 30+10 thingys from magicians in the forest and the waterways >.>.

All in all wasted like 70% stamina to get the Job advance.

Pfft. 93% for Job Adv.

And I say MK is pretty much useless because most of his recommended skills are locked. :I

Yeah, that's what kinda sucks about it lol
I guess I can deal with using "Wind Blade" for the time being, since we get a SP reset upon the "Locked Skills" patch.
Also I never realized how easy it was to use all 100% Stamina. Only played for a few hours just doing my job adv. and it consumed 94% of it or so? I had to do Wally's Castle on N and H to unlock VH for the final advancement quest.

Wind Blade easily surparsed Mega slash as my 100mp skill. the second MK Special Active looked like crap so i didn't put any points in it. And i was torn between maxing the passives or Iron body, i chosed the passives. And we need lvl 33+ to put a point in the 3rd Special Active so meh.

Mega Slash sucks anyway and shouldn't be maxed by both Sword Knights and Magic Knights. lol There are much better alternatives, especially later down the line.

Anything is better than pomegranate! Even mediocre Wind Blade!
I never even touched the skill in the skill tree, I left it at 1/5 for the entire time pre-SP Reset and even then, it's STILL at 1/5! Now I don't even use it anymore due to WB.

I just maxed it cuz i needed to invest the SP somewhere to keep going on the tree lolz.

Also wind blade isnt that bad, the range is pretty good (Both Horizontaly and vertically) and being a 100Mp skill its easy to use it most of the time. Also the damage is pretty good too (I hit like 40 to 70k with it on Flying airship)

I'm rather enjoying Rising Blade as a method of keeping things from getting too close behind me.

One thing i love about wind blade is that it has some hit box behind me too. I could use the second special active of the MK for that but meh seems like a waste actually.

Starting to dislike the massive gaps between equipment for sword knights. No point in using chief red rock because it's a magic set. And the difference between elder mercenary and nasod is like... over 10 levels.... Ugh I do such horrible damage on the airship right now. Can't wait until I'm level 30 and have a nasod sword. (chances are the level 30 will come first, seeing how god damn rare the nasod weapons are...)

I can say that getting any Set item is HARD. But it should be moderately easy now since there is only 3 playable chars right now, wait till Raven and the other 2 hits to Els NA where many situations of "Yay i got a equip... FUUUU ITS A RAVEN SWORDDDDDD" gonna arise.

Just to let you know, Magic also helps Sword Knights a lot. If you use Triple Geyser the right way with your magic buffed, you can easily either one-hit KO bosses or damage them significantly.

On second thought, I get more of an Elton John feel from them.

They're a randomly obtained item in the cubes you get for being logged in for an hour at a time.

Did they just start giving cubes today? I don't remember them a few days ago. If so, I'll have to rush on lol...
