Wow, this makes my mage shoes project WAY easier to do. I want to make lvl 90 shoes, chaos them for matk and potential to 3 lines. This makes it WAAAAAAAAY easier.

Took 3 to add a 3rd line to my racoon mask.

I am seeing nothing but people spamming that they got their equip to 3 lines in 1-5 cubes.

6 cubes and my lvl 90 stirges that ive been holding on to for way too long are still 2line. Im upset.

Since the notice doesn't say anything about "hurry! before they're gone!" I think it's safe to say there are no plans to remove them anytime soon.

I guess its time to try again then, now that we know that the chance of changing is 25%.. I guess a few more cubes will do it..

Look... there's a hell lot easier way to calculating success rate against number of cubes used... which is to measure probability of absolute failures.

1 - 0.75^n where n is the number of cubes used.

Gets you the last column immediately. Because the "Probablity" column does not provide as much information as the c.d.f. which is the last column, since the "Probability" column gives you the probablity that you will succeed on the nth try, which makes things look incredibly bleak.

took 3 for my 2l epic 206matk ele staff 7 to turn 3l

3 for my warrior unique bottom and 2 for my thief epic top.

7 to 3-line my staff, 8 for my earrings. Averages have failed me.

inb4 KMS' joystick thing that has a higher% chance of converting 2L--> 3L?

I wouldn't be surprised if this makes it here eventually. I know people who would like to get a third line on their equips without losing the potentials on their first two lines.

So the value of finding good 'Epic' rank 2 line drops just increased a great deal? Sounds lovely.

~2-3 cubes on average to get a 3-liner? Wow, the overall success rate is better than I thought. Guess I shan't wait for those Stamps then (50%/80% chance of adding a line). You win this time, Maple. *Goes charge ~$40 worth of NX*.
