Now there's thousands of people rallying outside the White House. Everything's going nuts. Lol.
This is pretty much a huge turning point for Obama. If anything, his popularity will surge from successfully accomplishing this elusive goal. He will have a huge - or significant - advantage in the upcoming presidential election.

People are saying this is the end of the War? Do you guys think this true? I don't know what to think to be honest.

Really, the only relevance this has is for Obama's popularity. It changes little to nothing in the Middle East situation. It's symbolic, and a powerful symbol, but Al Qaeda and the Taliban still exist, and things will not ceased to be fu'cked up because one man who has been hiding for years is dead. Finding Saddam sure didn't get us out of Iraq.

Wow, a lot of people in Ground Zero and White House.
(This isn't meant to be rude but I hope I have no school tomorrow )

It will still continue, but killing Bin Laden is pretty much cutting off the head of the Al Qaida organization. I kind of threw around predictions - to myself - about which U.S. special operations forces pulled it off. It was either U.S. Army's Delta Force, CIA's SAD (Special Activities Division) or U.S. Navy SEALs. Looks like Navy SEALs got the kill, according to defense officials speaking on anonymity.

I'm completely appalled at the reactions people are having over this. People are running around outside our dorms, screaming, singing and a fire alarm even went off. Someone even tried to fight me because I said I didn't care. Yes he is dead. Yes he did bad things. But I personally feel that celebrating a death this way is just downright pathetic.
I'm not happy he's dead, but I am happy how his death might effect the War on Terror for the good.

I fear that the death of their leader will bring about further radicalization of Islams. Perhaps his death was warranted, but I think people need to think further than "He's dead! He's dead!"
BTW you guys: 5/2/2011 5+2+2 = 9 5+2+2+1+1 = 11 9/11 = ZOMG
