Well, I'm about to graduate, so I don't see what's the big deal with this wedding. Congrats to them, though.

All I wanted to do was wake up like all the other old people and watch the Today Show. Instead, I was stuck having to deal with this bull pomegranate all day. And I'm sure all day tomorrow. All day Sunday. And so on.
The wedding wouldn't of sucked so much if there wasn't so much damn singing or whatever that is. A wedding doesn't need to last 3+ hours.

A bit tired of hearing all this pomegranate today about the wedding. I'd rather listen to Giga Pudding ad all day.

I can understand that it isn't worth waking up at 2am for Americans. But it was still way better than studying.

AM I RIGHT, LADIES?
YOU OBVIOUSLY DIDN"T SEE THE NONFICTIONAL MOVIE THAT WAS BASED OFF THIS MAGIC.
@above
Pretty much my dad wouldn't let us watch it as it was supporting a barbaric ritual and a huge money sink just to see the unnatural wedding of a "Mudblood" with royal blood. The last person who did it lost his throne, but here they are accepting it in open arms. I guess that's a big sha-bang here, but none the less, I also agree the hype is pointless.

I don't particularly care about the going-ons of the rich and the powerless.

Well I never said "sorry I'm atheist". I have no clue what you are talking about. All I said was "Even though I'm Atheist...", Don't claim that it has nothing to do with this, because it was a catholic wedding just like any other and they went through all the religious poems and songs.
I'm atheist who appreciates culture and traditions that have been there for thousands of years. Religion is one of those. I hate people that think I'm attacking their faith, everytime I make a minor note that I'm atheist.
Please don't put words to my mouth or intentionally try to change the topic.

Making the note is irrelevant is my point, on that note, please competently read the words coming out of my mouth. And the thread isn't misguided as it was a spoiler, the point of the wedding or how I feel about is there. Hence why I spoiled it.
Responding too me on a single point irrelevant to the thread seem's a little contradictory to the priority that you have in mind. Just sayin.

What he means is that you don't need to have a religion to discuss, or care about this event. The note was indeed irrelevant, although i understand the reason you put it in there, it has nothing to do with the subject. I'm not catholic, i don't really care about such thing, but i liked that wedding.
I like it because it shows that people are thinking about changing milenar traditions that don't suit the century we're living. The reason this wedding got so much attention, is because it really looks like a modern fairytale, a girl, that wasn't even close to the royal family, getting married with the prince and having to deal with a lot of obstacles to be with him.
She's not virgin anymore, she's graduated, when he isn't, her family is not rich, she has no title, and all of those things were required to marry him. Both of them wanted to make this wedding innovative, because they're breaking every single useless tradition that was in there. She's not getting called of Katherine, but Kate instead, she's not going to put her hair up every single time she get's in public, specially in her wedding, all those things are stupid and needed to be broke up, it was just necessary someone to start with this.
That's why it's so special. I like it because of that, and i don't really need to be catholic to think about it. Of course, it's still the wedding of someone powerless, and doesn't change anything at everyone's life, i like it, still. Just needed to say that, to explain why i thought it was irrelevant to mention that you were an atheist in the beginning, when it had really nothing to do with discussing the wedding. You don't need to feel hurt for hearing religious songs in a marriage, or something.

What is irrelevant here, is that you are making such a big deal over a detail of my opening post.
