Unscheduled Server Maintenance - 04.28.2011

CrazyNomad Wrote:its just fun to see everyone qq'ing about nexon but still play the game.

The same can be said about a person who sticks around a MapleStory forum despite quitting just to complain about Nexon. People complaining while still playing is somewhat forgivable because they like the game but don't like the problems, maybe they should stop playing, but that isn't really the point. However, those who quit and still have to complain are far worst.

Maybe I am taking you too seriously, but going around saying stuff like.

"oh, 3 server check in 2 days? how good is to play a game that is always on 24/7 Big Grin."

While it may be a joke it is needlessly taunting people who play the game. It also, in my opinion in which I am not saying you are or not, makes you sound a little like a troll.

"YOUR GAME SUCKS! HAHA YOU SUCK FOR PLAYING THE GAME! HAHA YOU SUCK FOR COMPLAINING ABOUT THE GAME WHILE STILL PLAYING IT! HAHA"

There is no need for any of it even if it is a joke.

I just made a joke about what derek said, because everyone here know, even you, that nexon won't fix it, and they are just gaining time by saying: oh we are fixing it but actually we dont know how to.

i'm pretty sure people that play maple post more hating pomegranate than me everyday on this forum, its just fun to see everyone qq'ing about nexon but still play the game.

@derek, no i do not, its either claire or Lili on my account, and if you wanna know more, ask absolutBM, he bought 5 piece of my gear for $$$. and how funny is that, you and villains always tell me: we don't give a pomegranate about what you do maikon, but yet you guys track me on rankings:

and always know when im online, or when my char is online, do you guys track me 24/7?

i added more to my post, and i knew you were offrank because someone else told us you were Smile

but like i said, they can fix the current way, it's just that there are many other ways that the exploiters aren't using. you of all people should know this.

not like this forum is troll-free lol.

if you go check my posts, i barely post on thisforum, maybe fun house/angry dome/gaming section. I do still read the forum, like i read any other gaming forum, i even read forums of games i never played. its just amaze me how nexon, after being in the market for years, still can't make anything right. look @ sony, they got screwed big time by believing their client were "safe".

Do you think i never tried to do anything? i have over 100 tickets closed by gm's with reports, etc etc etc, even tho i'm not playing, i still send them reports, but they just ignore it that i just laugh and walk away.

@derek, you know better than me that even if nexon try, they will always leave a breach for hackers, you and I play maple for a long time to know that some exploits are still there even tho nexon said they "fixed it"

Sigh.

Why is it always after a patch that there's so much massive fail?

XxSilencer Wrote:So in this patch, for anyone who HT's on a normal basis will come to find out something rather interesting. It would seem to be that HT's aggro has been significantly modified to the point where as long as you aren't attacking the part it won't attack you. This also applies for the summons from the Wyverns to the Cornians, they just sit there going back and forth and flying around until you actually touch them.

Although this is amazing news my question is why? Was this done to compensate for the broken avoidability frames? Will HT remain to be this way? I should also mention that because of this his seducing you has been significantly lowered to the point where it was before the frames were broken. All rather interesting if you ask me.
That explains a lot from last night - plenty of time between summons, no mass sed until 3/4 arms gone for us at least, heads didn't even attack that often. I was told that wasn't a typical HT run - it seemed like an anti boss run almost because nothing that deadly happened.
Hell I only died cause I lagged into a wyvern after 1/1. o_o

Maikon, you're getting mad at Nexon when, as someone already stated, they could have already fixed it yet hackers are finding new loop holes.

You don't work there, so cut some slack. Instead of bashing the company, consider the pathetic losers that enjoy ruining the game for others.

Off-topic: Your paranoia that Derek, or anyone associated with Villains, is obsessed with and tracks you 24/7 is hilarious. If anything we just laugh at your dumb smegas. Get over yourself.

GG?

Excellent.
I wasn't sure whether I should go to sleep, since I already wasted half the maintenance browsing forums and such. But this extension makes the decision easy.
Goodnight, good people.

To Add to this, it's not just HT. It's every mob in the game. Not sure if I like. It really makes things far too easy.

Why bother doing a SC when they have no idea what to do. They're obviously doing SOMETHING, if it's going to help, that's something else.
At least they're acknowledging the problem.

I'm under the impression that Nexon doesn't know what to do so they take down the servers, send bug reports to their Korean counterparts, have them do something while the American counterpart sits around twiddling thumbs and eating cupcakes, receive the fixes, and then turn back on the servers.

Anyone remember the good old days when people were arguing that it wasn't necessary to test everything in Tespia? Boy oh boy.

Implying it is Nexon's fault and not the player base for crashing the server
