I passed by a pile of them on my way home from my internship (I work on an industrial area), I had the idea and instantly picked it up.
I think I'll probably print some more pictures later to cover the places without anything.

How did you get it home? I mean, I've dealt with these before--they're for industrial cable--and they're not easy to maneuver around. Do you own a pick up truck or something? Did you ROLL IT HOME?

It's not THAT big, it's at most 60cm across. I lifted it with two fingers and brought on the metro O.o

I agree, that's the second problem I have with it for now. No idea where to find a thread thick enough that it would feel right on that enormous thing (and not involving buying ANOTHER spool like that just for the thread).
