Pandas: Maple Havoc Hammer
Time taken: 2100 kills - ~220 maple leaves. I guess around an hour... I kill at 2000/hr by default.

So far it drops similarly to some other weapons, less than others - I found 6 phoenix wands and 4-5 dark rituals, but only 1 colonian axe in the same time.

Well, if you log on all of your characters (for people with tons of mules over level 2), you could accumulate more leaves that way much easier. Right now, maple leaves are selling for 5k each in Broa.

This. This looks like the gamebreaker to me, but I haven't tested yet cuz school is winding up. I Didn't even know they had patched till today.
So can I still get that +4 all stat medal or is it like the ring event and I'm S.O.L?

Yeah I just patched and noticed how stupid the above post makes me look.
Don't worry this happens to me a lot. I'm used to it.

Found two Pyrope Katara and a Hellslayer with potential in about 40 minutes in the first room of the ToT.

maple pyrope halfmoon- harps- 15min

Location: Desert Rabbits (Male/Brown)
Weapon hunted: Maple Claw
Time taken: 10 - 15 minutes

Traded it in for 1 Silver Coin.

Found a maply pyrope staff at blood harps after about 20 seconds much to the chagrin of a mage who'd been there for 2 hours.

About five minutes. this is after the server check so i don't think they nerfed rates

I do feel it worth mentioning that after looking at the drop list, it looks the best place to grind for Maple Equips is the map with Book Ghost and Sage Cat. Book Ghost drops 4 different lv 64 weapon and Sage Cat drops 5 different lv 64 weapons.

Book Ghost: 1h sword, 2h sword, 1h axe, 2h axe
Sage Cat: 2h axe, 2h bw, spear, bow, crossbow

Book Ghost is 84 and Sage Cat is 95 so it seems like the place to go if you can hit them. Low level alternatives are Stone Golem, Dark Drake (who drop diamond 6's), Skeleton Soldier/Officer/Commander (also drops cards), and Lucida/Jr Lucida. if there was a map with Lucida and Jr Lucida without having to have Eliza spawn it i would be there but for now i'm bouncing around different places i just listed (my dawn warrior is only 80 so i can't really do Book Ghost and Sage Cat).

edit 2x:
a recantment, Skeleton Commander drops Pyrope crossbow and claw, so it doesn't really fit my list.

Anybody that got in before the server checks go to Commander skeletons and got a Pyrope Claw or Xbow?

lv 64 maple weapons can be exchanged for 2500 maple leaves worth of coins. it might be easiest to just grind for those. but the sword drops from Cerebes, Hobi, Nine-Tailed Fox, and Dark Klock

it's actually six, so it's worth checking out. even though lv 43 items only give three coins as opposed to five from a 64, if they're dropping a ton, it could be worth it. i checked out Goby too but it only drops an unexchangable lv 77 2h bw. and if that means their drop rate is glitched then Sage Cat would also have a double drop rate on one of its items too. and the only thing about Stone Golem is its terrible spawn. Dark Stone Golem drops even more maple weapons than Stone Golem but it's spawn is even worse so I didn't even mention it lol.

Book Ghost is 84 and Sage Cat is 95 so it seems like the place to go if you can hit them.

Just gonna confirm Sage Cats as being great so long as you can move around the map pretty fast. (Ice/Light mage if it wasn't obvious)

So, assuming that I got a bit more than average, you should still get around 25-30 coins an hour farming the lvl 64 weapons there, which may or may not be faster than hunting for the Pyrope, and is definitely a good place if you're looking to get non drop items like anniversary scrolls or necklace.
