With this law, you can be screwed up just by being online thanks to connectionless packets. If you know someone you don't like, you can get a VPS and punch out a number of UDP-packets to their IP-address with copyrighted content. Orrr, you can request streaming of illegal content (again, UDP) and replace your IP with their - thus all the packets are sent to them. Don't know if they require TCP-connections to authenticate though.

(Or you could do a man-in-the-middle attack, but you're probably not on the route to the person.)

I don't know what the law is but I doubt the type of action you described would produce enough evidence to convict someone. xd
Laws that seem illogical are passed often with the intent of making it easier to prosecute things that should be prosecuted. Courts are there for a reason.
