Original League of Legends (LoL) Thread

I'm thinking of changing mine from Arpen marks/scaling Mana regen seals/flat CDR blues/ Arpen quints to Arpen marks/scaling HP seals/mana regen blues/arpen quints. Thoughts?

Just to let you know if you manage to get 9 marks and 3 desolation runes of armor penetration (or flat AD, not sure which, really) you can KO the opponent at 2 bars with level 1 Ace in the Hole.

Learned this the hard way when I mirrored-mid against another Caitlyn.

Oh. My. God. Smurfing is hilarious. I've been playing Singed for a few games on a smurf, and the people... so funny. I've almost been brought to tears a few times. I also forgot how often people left games at that level.

Amumu on my team starts by running through the jungle and attacking their Ashe at top between the two towers. He dies. He proceeds to do this for the rest of the game, gets fed up with dying and eventually rages, "I just want to quit but this stupid game won't let you leave." Not to mention Ashe with two 3 speed boots.

Game after, Tryn starts with me at bot and I ask him why he has no items:
"Need more g"
"But you have gold"
"Need more for build. 750g"
First item was an Avarice Blade.
He actually did alright though, considering we had to hold a 3v5 for a while after our top lane quit. Luckily after Tryn got sick of it and quit, one of the first guys who left came back and the enemy team's Yi left, and we proceeded to win the 3v4. Although I think we could've won the 3v5. Our Ashe went 25-2 in the game and pushed mid to the first base turret when we'd only lost one bot turret during the 3v5.

Singed is bloody awesome at these low levels when I lane against people with no range harass.

Name one AD DPS champ that uses attack speed over damage or armour pen.

Xin Zhao pre-nerf with his funky setup. AS + CDR = super knock-up stuns.

I haven't checked the math since the runes were adjusted, but previously there was no remotely sane reason to prefer AD runes over APen runes.

Also, while I'm not 100% sure about checking enemy stats, I know that if you check your own stats on the bottom left HUD, blue numbers consist entirely of your own champion's base stats, while green numbers are stats that are enhanced in one way or another.

Also also, if you think getting KO'd by two Ace in the Hole shots is scary, you haven't seen First Blood Ashe. But that's a gimmick build mostly.

I dropped WoW this past week, about bloody time too, and been trying to catch up in Vindictus to my sister and a couple friends lol
Plus school got a bit hectic these past few weeks due to it being almost over.

I was +45 wins over losses at one point, but apparently matchmaking didn't like that. -_-

I keep getting abysmal teammates. In the last game I played, we had a Morde who refused to communicate with anyone on the team and didn't get shoes until just over 50 minutes in. Him and an instalocking Fiddlesticks fed like mad.

Just realized that AI bots will go after me during teamfights, once I pop stealth and start Spray and Praying. That was pretty bad, I must say.

Time to really figure out how to position myself effectively. Had too many unnecessary deaths. >_>

Bots are stupid if you manage to kill them regularly. But if you feed them... Well... Protect your butt.

Is it worth it to build a full pure AS rune page (for AD DPS)? I'm giving this idea a serious thought.

I did ArPen Reds, AS Yellow, AS Blue, and Health Quints for my ad dps champions, just changed over maybe 2 weeks ago... Definately glad i made the change, it was well worth it

I have ArPen red, Flat Armor Yellow, MR/perlevel Blues and Quints i have Asp/ARPen. Seeing if i change quints to 1armor-1pen/asp-1MRper.

Two more smurf games, one brutal loss, one brutal win. DPS Amumu on my team (Bloodthirster, Manamune, boots of swiftness and then he started a sunfire) in the losing game and DPS Heimerdinger on my team the winning game (Executioner's Calling, Berserker Grieves, Zeal)

I think I'll take Singed to the main now.

Anyone have any experience with Jarvon or Nocturne? Im looking at getting one of those two next so im wondering what people think of these champs? Any opinions will be appreciated

I'm not sure I'd want to main tank with him over Rammus unless my team is really beefy. He's fun though. Next up, jungle Nunu.

Jarvan and Nocturne are both good. I never mind having either on my team.

Dont have much experience with jarvan, and Noc is the one that its getting the global taunt lately.

He's good at 1vs1 fights (since thats his role as a assassin), but he goes from bad to ok in team fights (I always get shut down first in EVERY FRIGGING Team fight).

His Q is a straight line shot, the damage scales with AD and leaves a trail (Champs hit with it leaves a trail too). While in the trail you get bonus AD and Move speed.
His W is a free banshee that last for 2 secs so you need good timing and some kind of Spidersense to use it well. It also gives bonus Asp passive, and get double of that bonus if your shield blocked a skill.
His E is Theter that gives damage over time while you stay in range over 2 secs, if you stay in range for the full 2 secs your target get fear so its a good chasing/escaping ability.
His R is a 2 part skill, first part send a debuff to EVERY enemy champ where they only have vision around them (No minions, no wards, no turrets, no other champs vision) also this debuff consume shields,the second part is a bullet like dash with a HUGE range. Damage Scales with AD. This is used to kill overextending laners and to pick the almost dead/Squishies Damage dealers in a team fight, But beware that if you dash to a target that isn't alone you could get shut down pretty easily (Its impossible not to see you coming). Also you can be targeted and damaged while in fligth, but you can also use skills in flight (Like using the shield before landing or Starting with the fear leash).

You can ask me anything and ill try to answer since i play with noc on most of my games.

I forgot the Innate: Your normal Attack becomes AoE with 120% damage that heals you for 15/20/25 per target hit. This effect happens every 10 secs but each normal attack reduces the CD by 1 sec. Point of origin of the AoE its yourself (So its better to be between melee and mage minions to hit them all, Without risking your life too much of course). The 120% is based on the target you hit, if you have lifesteal you heal for the damage of every target hit. Also the AoE doesn't proc things like Red buff and Frozen Hammer.
