I thought it gave you the option to use 3 graded gems on ANY piece of equipment.

Always been like that. Even Timeless Reverse equip can only use 3 gems.

Nope, only stuff that requires Maker 3 (110+ gear) can be made with 3 gems. It's always been like this.

Ugh, so I trained my Aran to 105 and wasted some plates/lidium/a few millions for nothing... lol
