Original League of Legends (LoL) Thread

Not sure if I apply to this, since I've only played Irelia a handful of times, but I usually go: Doran's Shield, Boots, Sheen, Merc Treads, Phage, Zeal, Trinity Force, Spirit Visage, then either build tankier or build more DPS depending on what you need. Sunfire Cape is what I do a lot of the time after Visage, then I like something with some more lifesteal to it like a Bloodthirster, Starks, or Wriggles. I suppose you could go early Wriggles by doing cloth and 5 pots, but that depends on what you want to do. You'll be a little easier to harass early game, but you'll free up a slot sooner.

Just had a BORING game. Seriously, even look at the chat:

My team wasn't pushing at all, so I got bored and decided to jump on bottom turret on my own (We had taken down front turrets, I was going for inner) I just jumped, attacked and turned on tremors, then the whole team came to me AND had a hard time killing me...while I was down and THE 5 enemies were on me, the rest of my team got mid and top so they were down to base turrets only, then their nunu goes 'just push and finish it', I say 'what do you think I just did? this game is so boring that I had to suicide push' and then someone from my team said 'surrender and done' so they did...

Anyway Rammus is fun to play, glad no one on team wanted to tank... Oh also, most kills as rammus?... what?.
Oh yeah and I realized that not only taunt stops channeling skills, but powerball does too.

Is it the weekend? Must be. I got my ass handed to me all night long.

Heh just played a game with Corn. He joined another LoL friend and myself in a game. My friend went Singed, Corn went Irelia, and I went Sion. Corn and I laned top against a Galio and Garen, and did quite well. I died once to them due to silence, and Corn died once to Garen ult, and I think once more because they double ulted him and also ignited. XP However, I managed to get at least a little fed early on, and decided to go for a hybrid build. First went Sheen and Merc Treads since Galio's ult = annoying, and as I got kills, I picked up the rest of my Trinity force. After that, I decided to go for some lifesteal, and since we were about to get into team fights, I went Starks. That + my Ult = Lots of healing during them for myself, and my team. From there, I debated whether to go more tanky, more ap, or more DPS. Eventually I decided to go Hextech Gunblade and shortly after that, the game had been won. If it'd continued, I think I would have gone Banshees + GA just to survive that much longer and be that much more of a pain to the enemy team. Our Ashe definitely carried us at 23 kills or so, but I think I did my fair share helping her and the rest stay alive while I put out decent damage from my skills and regular attacks.

first and the last time im playing malphite. TOO intense. we dominated them early game, they owned us in mid game, we owned them back in late game! they baroned, and we went after them. most of them were at low hp, thinking that they can take all of us down, instead we aced them and ended the game.
oh, did i mentioned that i owned both tryn and nasus at the same time?

I absolutely <3 malphite. When we need a tank in ranked (rammus=instaban) I always go with malph.

We played a normal game yesterday that needed a tank, I missed my ulti 1 time out of about 15 uses.

oh youre so wrong. free armor pens, ad kassadins are basically anti carries.

In the games that I've played as ad kass, I didn't have enough survivability to do sustained melee damage. So endgame my ad was low after the banshee's etc.
If it works in yours, great.

I saved your butt loads of times during laning phase with my stun .

Been playing Garen a bit... Hes really easy and attractive i like him.

Also gonna try Double Philo Stones on Lux now instead of Tear. The only items i ever manage to make on lux before the game ends is Tear, CD Boots, and RoA. Sometimes i can fit in a Needless Rod if im lucky but yeah..

Hopefully the stones will pay for my wards and i can actually make a Deathcap in games

That post is kinda... 2months old? but still works i guess.

I dont really get what they can do with Eve. She depends on her stealth for kills, so depending on how they change it could mess her up even more than she has recieved so far.

Its bad enough that Eve can hardly lane after her stats nerf..

I like the idea of stealth leaving footprints though.. idk why they said it made people feel stupid.

Also my lastest amumu build (Only tested on bots so far):

-2 philo stones for start
-1 boot of swiftness
-1 Sunfire cape
-1 Abyss Scepter/Frozen Heart (Depending if im fighting mostly AD or AP chars)
-1 Morello tome (Or something else) for 1 philo stone
-1 something else (I was going for force of nature for extra mres in case of hybrids OR Guardian armor) for 1 philo stone.

Riot isn't that dumb to just say "we reworked the stealth, have fun!"
