Fireworks

Took me 4 hours approximately. Done in coloured pencils and black ballpoint pen. :>
The camera cut out a little piece of the portrait, not really that big tho.

That's some awesome stuff, man! Love the colors!

My only problem is with the nose, it looks too flat.

I have a problem with the breasts. There's no.. shading. It looks like you just drew a line there, cause you did.

Yea, i must admit my fingers were killing me when i was doing her dress :S
Had to do a quick job in it. The nose was a little because of the flash, it's not really that flat in the original.
Thanks guys :>

Beautiful. The colors are nice and bright. Is that a portrait of someone you know?

It's a portrait of Katy Perry performing her Fireworks song. I've always liked that song because of the message it gave, so, just looked at her clothes and characteristics and made that portrait :>
It doesn't really look that much like her tho.

The nose is off. From our point of view it should be a little to the right. It'd look really freaky from the front otherwise (running down one cheek... do not want).

And yeah, the boobs. But someone already commented on that so I won't.

You've done pretty nice shading. In an arts course?

Not really, never been in any arts course :S
Yea, some parts are a little off because i'm not really familiar with such styel, i'm more used to anime or chibi styled drawings, so, i'm still praticing the real human characteristics. Just doing these to pratice at all. :o

In chibi/anime drawings the nose wouldn't be skewed either, it'd actually look more odd in such a style where the nose is slanted more and there are no nostrils to distract the viewer from any nose misplacement. Confused
