Dear god, Valve left the door open. Chell is now free to find or be found by what's occupying the States in the Combine era. GLaDOS now has an eternity to tinker around with Atlas and P-Body. Valve has already stated (unknown if publically or privately to ThePoliticalGamer) that they are done with altering the game and will release DLC sometime. That alone might give us our next plot platform to hop up to. It could even be another ARG, which Valve has perfected the art of. And we still have the Borealis.

well, Chell really can't interact with the combine. Since she was in the sleep chamber for at least 9999 days, which is about 30 years. Assuming Portal 1 takes place around around 2007, since valve likes to make games that are in the current time frame, Portal 2 takes place around at least 2037. If Half-Life 2 takes place at ~2017, then either the Combine is gone or all the humans are dead. But, considering the next installment in Half-Life will probably involve the borealis, it's possible that Valve has a "we told you that story so we could tell you this one" kind of plot. I would love it if when boarding the Borealis you hear "Cave Johnson here!"

Want You Gone is a great song, better in musicality than Still Alive but doesn't have as much of an impact as it. I love it, though.

Potato thing was amazing. The moon? Did not see that coming. That was awesome. the ending was kind of vague... should we be expecting a Portal 3?

Yeah. I was playing with someone playing on Steam while I was on my PS3. Not sure if that works for the 360 though. :/

edit: Ninja'd. So the 360 does have matchmaking as well. (Mute has the 360 version)

Indeed. I was playing the co-op with Combo earlier today.. shiz be tough. (part 2, puzzle 6(?)) where you gotta time jumping and catching sh'it.

The Xbox has Matchmaking but I'm pretty sure it can't play with PS3 and PC users.

BTA and I went through all of the co-op levels and finished it this morning at about 5:15 AM with bloodshot eyes. The last puzzle is the hardest, but now that we know what to do it's dead simple. We could probably complete it within five minutes.

For whatever reason, all of the puzzles involving gels are much, much harder than the test chamber puzzles. I think it's because not only do you have to know where to fling the gels, but you also have to know the objective or reasoning why you're flinging the gels.

I finished the game. That ending was awesome. I also liked the ending song better than the first one. Now to beat co-op mode with someone. Also, I might replay single player with commentary on.

Yeah, we really spent way too much time on that last puzzle... :x

So yeah, just finished single player. Absolutely loved the whole game. Only parts I was annoyed by were mostly in "The Fall", where it was sorta confusing about where to go next. And then the gel puzzles were annoying too for the same reason. After that, everything was wonderful again.

Also: will SPAAAAAAAACE be this one's meme? :p

Upon reflection of this ending, for some odd reason I felt an extreme case of deja vu. I don't know how, but I feel that I've seen an orchestra of turrets before .

Got to chapter 4 of 5 for co-op yesterday, so I haven't finished it just yet, but it was definitely more of a challenge than the main game.
