Back when equip drops were in the "1 in 1000" level of droprates, I kept a log. So from level 57 to 133, I know what my Paladin was killing, and what I found. DGPs really stand out with 245 equip/star/scroll drops. At that 1 in 1000 rate, that's 245,000 killed... If I remember right, Leafre mobs had lower equip droprates, so they get an even higher multiplier.
HA, oh wow, those were the days huh, i was too much of a nub back then, it was my maple dream to train at FoG, but i couldn't ever break the 3rd job wall. i only managed to do it when the ravana temple came out for the first time, and i have been playing almost since the very first day >.<; once that was done with though, rest was cake (except 117~120, that was terrible for me again)
so i missed the hardcore grinding for the most part (i mean the hard-hardcore grinding), but considering i went to ToT from level 127 to 144, i kind of had my grind there.

that wasn't a joke, i did imagine that, and i do want to make a drawing about it, i was thinking the whole quest "i should get some sort of savior of the alien invasion medal or something"
This makes me think of some of my more harshly earned monster cards. Good times.
I was never much on the hard-core grinding scene as I was never training on the highest level training area, but skelegons do get a good mention for being my 100 -> 12x using mist. I did get quite pro at that map.

Awesome, you got it.
I was that odd stranger that messaged you out of the blue like... 3 days ago? 4? I think you found your third soul light then.
Personally, I hope I never, ever have to do a quest of that nature.

is there lack of other adventurers due to the fact that none other than warrios can complete the quest? or is it that people have yet to try due to the fact people keep stating that only warriors can complete it? o_o

I think is because other can't and I wouldn't test it till after a patch to see if they fixed it, also a page or two ago someone stated they tried and still wasn't fixed (wen't with a warrior, warrior saw dew while he couldn't).

The one saying that did not know each job has their own version of Dew. They would not even see it even if it was working as it should.

Well, still I would recommend anyone wanting to attempt it with another job to wait for version 0.97, most lileky it wasn't even added to the drop list of the bunnies (I could be wrong).

Second set doesn't seem a whole lot faster so far >_> 1.5 hrs of 2x at Cube Slimes = 1 Soul Light.
Gonna try to get as far as I can before the Flowers event ends I guess. And then I'll just do something else perhaps. It doesn't seem like Driver's all that much better than ACB, except in range.

My other crit was unrepresentative of stability... I do 120~150% crits, those just happened to both be 120% >_>

it's still something i guess, quoting you "2-3 hours of 2x a day", 1.5 is still half to an hour and a half less time spent, let's see how it goes, but dark knights seem to have it so much easier, i got a soul light just by casting beholder and leaving my PC for 20 mins.
SD was too slow for me, so i stuck with fury, dunno the speed of your weapon, but i am sure you can OHKO them with a red katana, in case your weapon is slower than that, it's good to avoid climbing to the second floor though.
and weird crits last time i guess, this one is much nicer.

Yeah, it's an improvement, as long as it keeps this pace or speeds up a little.
I'm using SD for the upper platforms, ACB can hit them as well (barely) by jumping but the horizontal range is a lot smaller so it takes several jumps to clear. Last few 30 minute buffs have seen me getting ~950-1000 etc. drops. I'd guess it's about the same killrate as Ultra Greys (2400/hr) but some are fading away on the upper platforms between me looting there.
I 1hko with ACB/SD obviously no matter what weapon, but with Rush I can't quite make the 1hko with a Red Katana so I've been using my Morningstar.

It's similar to what I did, I solely used my red whip throughout all the farming as it gives +speed and the weapon speed is better than my main weapon by far. You could use the Maplemas Lights if you still have it, gives +Speed and is fast(4).

SD only beats ACB by 32% damage, least according to JoeTang, which can be very negligible if you want to think about it. The range is definitely a major plus since it's rather big AND it hits from behind.

perfect for LHC golems too, where the mobs get pushed away, you can simply look on the opposite direction, and they'll be dragged in 4 times with SD.

Not kashimiya, and didn't realize this was obligatory :f6:
Anyway, here comes handsome knight Mihile to my rescue
swords a-whirl
and the evil Cube Slimes are killed dead, dead, DEAD!
Truth to tell, Shout did a better job on them, even though it's pretty slow too.
Shout was very fun on Poison Poopas, killing them by the school. They were rather stingy though, so I went Rushing Ultra Greys next.
Now at Bone Fish (5/10 Soul Lights as of this writing), and using Intrepid Slash. Slow going, since I'm only doing it when I can't stand to LHC any longer. Might get a 4 hour card after maintenance and hopefully get level 4 SD. I would like to get level 5 before Cassandra stops handing out free buffs, but... SD isn't really all that useful for me, so most days I would rather train.
