Tigeon Wrote:Anyone else feel like there running out of berries? I keep taking a pokemon out of dream world (even if its not that great) because you get 50 points per pokemon, and its starting to wear down my berry stock!

Find a pokemon you want to keep, then instead of adding it, make 4-5 runs through the rainbow forest to find berries (among other items) and skip all other pokemon (unless you find one you'd rather have). I found about 7 berries on 4 runs (as well as 2 pass orbs and a heal ball). Doesn't take long at all if you skip all the minigames (and you can go there as much as you want within an hour, so yea).

Also, you should always keep at least one berry spot with oran berries - they only take a day to grow and produce 5 berries for each one you plant.

EDIT: So I had a couple of questions regarding some things...

1) You're able to take up to 10 pokemon when you exit the dream world, yet you can only take one from the island. Is there some other way to get pokemon or something? Or is that just there for when promotions happen (such as the eeveelutions one)?

2) What's the difference between Forest Clearing and Deepest Clearing?

How do you make multiple runs per visit? o_o

The other thing you can do is plant all your berries. You get 5 per berry you plant so if you plant/harvest everyday you shouldn't have problems. And if you're bringing the pokemon you find back for points, you should do all the mini-games anyways as those net you 10-30 points.

You can run more than once per dreamworld visit by just clicking return to dream home instead of giving a pokemon to the tree.

Don't befriend a single poke, refuse any friends you see. Tell them to go away. Don't fall for their games, their lies.
You want the reward, not some partner holding you back.

As Jim said, just don't befriend any pokes and return home.

Also Jim, I've noticed that different berries have different growing times (as in past games). That, or some can grow on their own while others require outside visitors to water them. I planted one of the 5 berries I got to start and it hasn't made much progress after a day.

I was thinking the same thing, i had a dream world pokemon lined up to be sent over, but still had 9 more slots, so i thought that rather than go through the game sync process every day, i'll just leave my pokemon in the dreamworld and get another one tomorrow. Turns out i can't get another one until the one i have is sent over, which is a massive ballache. It's a bit dumb...

Anyway, at the moment i have a Harvest Exeggcute (a Berry can be used an infinite amount of times in a battle) an Inner Focus Female Kangaskhan, and probably my best of all, a Cloud Nine Female Lickitung with a beneficial nature (Cloud Nine negates all weather effects)

I actually got the female lickitung with cloud nine yesterday =P

And yes berries do take different times, Those mo'ther fu'cking rindo berries have been planted for like 4 days and I STILL can't harvest them (yes I've watered them >_>)

Didn't know about the multiple run thing. That is very helpful! But lets say I do play the minigames and befriend pokemon. If i still don't offer a berry at the tree and instead do what you guys said and go home, will I be screwed if i try to re enter the dream isle again?

Just keep doing the dream island until you can't find any pokemon or items. Then you turn your pokemon in. There aren't any adverse effects otherwise.

Oh so basically I can still play the minigames and such, and re enter as much as I want within the hour as long as I don't offer a berry at the tree. Gotcha xD

I've never had to switch out my Politoed since this opened and have never stopped seeing berries or pokemon. I usually stop playing after 45 minutes, so maybe that's why I don't "run out"

Couldn't get on yesterday cuz tornados killed the power, but I usually get many berries just walking around the isle.

Oh, just figured out when you can't find any more items or pokemon, just wake up the pokemon you have and then have another pokemon go to sleep in order to find more stuff again.

Ugh, I've been unable toget on the GL since the day it launched, my pokemon white tells me that "Game sync has run out of power. It will take a day to recharge". Or something along those lines. Only its been 6 days. >_>

I haven't changed the clock on any of my ds's, but if the DS clocks make a difference... I've been switching between using my 3DS and DS lite for pokemon white at random, so thats probably it. This is stupid...Frown

Played for like 20 minutes..

It's kinda boring after you do your daily walk, tend to your berries, and well.. that's it o-o
Creative idea but, meh :/

Nonetheless, add me guys: Paralyzes

Man dream world just doesn't want me to abuse its mechanics.

I go through the first run, just to collect stuff. Goes as planned
Second run. 2 steps forward and I run into Bidoof. I was like "meh maybe just one game" Then after i win the bidoof is female with moody ability. That was like "yea im done xD" So all in all, 2 runs but got the Uber Bidoof that can breed!

Also its a lot more fun now that I'm connected to different people now. I was able to cross enough bridges to get to japanese dream world players. What freaked me out is that their homes are actually castles! And they have such nice furniture inside...

Makes me want to tend to my berries =/
