Want to know a secret? Here's my formula for grinding success on Maple:

 Spoiler

1) Vodka+Cranberry Juice+Ginger Ale OR Bawls (Energy Drink) OR hell, mix it all together!

2) Find a day where you're not busy working, at college, or ...doing stuff with your girlfriend (unless she plays online like mine does, jajaja)

3) Get a double EXP card

4) Party at Newties, grind for 4+ hours.

5) Have a blast.
