What razor do you use to shave?

Hot water makes shaving easier too.

And about the cuts... you get used to it. Been shaving for half of my life with disposable blades, so I don't even feel pain from the cuts anymore. -_-;

Btw, people here shave from top to bottom or bottom to top?
I do both, for maximum smoothness.

i do both as my hair is too thick to go straight for bottom to top with just 1 day of not shaving.

I don't have any facial hair yet. And I'm 17.

Battery powered or not? I don't really know what extra the battery powered one would give, so I went manual. Saved me a couple of bucks too.

Not battery powered. They had no battery powered ones when I first bought it, and haven't really needed or thought to try it.

I use Gillette Blue 2 disposable razors

I used to have the fusion one when i first started shaving but 5 blades = massive irritation on my skin and gave me lots of cuts and irritation acne.

Swapped to disposables and get none of the above~

i have a bare minimum razor and i shave with water in the shower. constant water > shaving cream. I don't have platypus facial hair either.

ahh well i take my showers in the morning and shave the night before so there's some stubble. i just can't have a completely bare face

I just ran out of heads for my current razor, and they don't sell the heads anymore,so I'll probably change to the proglide now. I always do top to bottom when I shave, sometimes I still cut myself though when I'm in a rush to get to work. pomegranate sucks. I ALWAYS use shaving cream. My hair grows back to a noticeable length after even a day of not shaving, so >_>

try showering just to shave at night, don't use your shampoo or soap or anything and this will keep your sheets cleaner etc etc.

gillette fusion power, works great.

In regards to the problems you were having, try shaving from the bottom up on your neck. You would get as close of a shave as you would going against the grain but you will have less "breakout" and/or redness iratation.

Change the head/razor more often

After you shave put a hot cloth on your face, followed by a cold cloth. (not 100% sure why but i think it has to do with your pores)

I went to a barber and got a shave once. thats what he told me^ I find it helps.

I have never had good luck with electric razors. Which one do you use/recommend?

Wilkinson Sword Hydro 5 for the main part of my face cos it has an aloe vera strip which makes my face feel nice and it reduces razor burn. I use a normal Gillette Fusion for tricky bits like around my mouth and nose because it has a single blade on the back so it's easy to get single hairs.

I use some Gillette razor for my face... a fancy Remington one for other places.

I use whichever one is on sale
