EDIT: IF ur good Rolleyes

Euhm... what? I don't know if GMS was different than EMS before BB, but when we GPQ (UndiesPatrol in EMSKradia), we get a little over 1k GP every succesfull GPQ. Fast GPQs are 15 minutes (more or less), let's take 20 minutes to be save. Means 3 GPQs per hour, means 72 GPQs in 24hrs, which would give us 75k+ GP.
I guess you can say that our guild is good at GPQ though.

GP received from GPQ is dependant on how fast your guild is at completing it. yo72's guild probably was slow, thus he received lower GP.

LOL Onewishes/OneWishs were both on GPQ rank boards in gms Scania, we ALWAYS finished b4 good bonus time aka 1:07.
You get 60 gp for the 1st three stages, you get 20 gp from leaving all the rooms in stage 4, I think 50 gp is a high estimate for clearing the last stage(been forever no idea), and the max gp at boss stage is 850 and goes down the slower you are(below 1:07). so you get under 1k per pq. 15min run=4k for an hr, 4x24=92+(650 or w/e OP said afking person all day was x6). So its 95k. I guess I must have done something horribly wrong with either dividing per person or something idk.

This'll definitely discourage people from jumping guilds....

Although I suppose there are some people who don't really pay much attention to guild level

Ok, so if someone MANAGES to get around 14 million points... He can basically start gifting EVERYONE a free lv10 guild? Or charging, I guess :p

Though the guild he left loses his points I don't think he ports over the points he's already accumulated on to the next guild.

According to the patch notes and all that, you can get your points and use them somewhere else, apparently.

I tested this a while back because the notes did make it seem like this is the case, but the GPs are lost. A character will always get just 500 GPs upon joining, doesn't matter how many they had before (unless at some point, you get to keep the points, say over 10k points, I only tested this with characters with 1-2k points).

My guild de-leveled the last server check. Not sure why.

gonna take a guess, it seems that after each server check, your guild level gets reset to 0, and then when you gain GP, it goes to the current possible level attainable. did someone in your guild leave you below the required for that level?

It always does that every SC. For some reason it de-levels by 1 level and whenever someone in your guild gains GP, it fixes itself.

I dont think the amount of points a member gains reset at midnight. So if a member afks without DCing for days, he would receive 720GP a day

This whole guild thing is CRAZY. I doubt it was meant to be like this forever, because it's not even remotely normal to require so much just to level a guild once. And as others already said, it's not even a matter of effort. It's a matter of time logged in and levelling up, and those don't even give much GP at all!

That said, I'm pretty sure GPQ was meant to come back, and was meant to become the main GP source. But they've probably had other priorities on their list, thus not revamping GPQ yet. If you click on the GPQ's NPC you'll find out that she says that it's going to come back, or better, she says it's gone "for now" or something like that, which should signify that it IS coming back.

I'm pretty sure that, whenever it will (if, hopefully, my theory is true), it WILL be the main GP source and it'll make guild levelling much easier. Or at least better than this madness.

Though, seeing how they made Ergoth an event boss and contextualized its storyline OUTSIDE the Guild PQ itself.. I'm not so sure anymore. I doubt they're going to revamp Sharenian Guild PQ so that it has a different boss, so yeah.. I just hope this doesn't mean we're not going to see GPQ anymore.
