Elsword USA Open Beta Announced!

Quick question, was there another version before this already released (USA). I see people saying they get to keep their names but it looks like they can't be claimed yet o_o. Can we start snagging names somewhere else?

There was a Closed Beta test. People who played in it will be able to keep the names they used as long as they get to them before Midnight on the 29th.

No matter how good a game is, if its not in English or Spanish i simply can't enjoy it .

The game is very combo based -- You have to string your attacks together to form fluid attack methods to run through dungeons as fast and effectively as possible.

Gameplay reminds me of Lunia in 2D. Can't wait to play, I loved Lunia until the stupid Myth BS came into play.
Also Rune Knight is mine!

Archers look cool in this game, I hope I get a good IGN :x

Yes! I've been waiting so long for Elsword. I love love love Grand Chase and I can imagine Elsword being so much better. Aisah is overused for anybody who is wondering, as well as Elsword as it's the only non-female character at first. Which leaves Rena for me.. :>

At the very least it starts at lvl 15 in the german version.
Advanced at lvl 18 almost 19.

If only there was a way to transfer my inventory full of purple equips over to the US version. Hell, I even seem to have one of those a rare non-tradeable bows from... bosses?. =\

I've heard of this game before, but I never really knew much about it besides the name. After browsing through the site... I'm definitely going to participate in Open Beta with Rena.

The game doesn't work for me. Whenever I write my id and pass, it freezes, then a message pop up saying "Connection to the server failed".

That's because the game doesn't open until the 26th of this month. That's 11 days from now.

I played Elsword a bit in the JP version and the closed beta and it isn't bad, but it needs fleshing out and more classes. The PvP is terrible and extremely boring, though. Like almost as bad as MS PvP.

same im excited!!!

If someone manage to play from outside the US without much problems (Can party, pvp, trade, etc) and without using a proxy, i could give this game a try since it looks pretty decent.
