Kradia and Yellonde Form a Server Alliance

Well, that is true but I think many would choose to remain in Scania even if there was an option for a server transfer. It can be very difficult to find maps and I think if it were possible to have more channels, that would be wonderful.

You don't get the point at all. Two worlds sharing 20 channels. They're bringing 10 each.
Scania already has more than enough people for 20 channels, adding another 10 from an underpopulated wouldn't balance it out, it'd just put even more strain on the channels that people overpopulate.

Oh I'm not suggesting that we merge with another existing server. But given that server merges are possible, why not "merge" our server with an empty server to give Scania more space?

I doubt they'd do anything to the five original worlds, since those are the most populated. Hell, I doubt they'd even do something to Bellocan. I'm sure it's probably just going to be the extremely underpopulated servers that get an "alliance."

I think the fact that they keep insisting this isn't a merger and calling it an alliance is pretty insulting to our intelligence. Unless they create a set of channels that cross over (like 30 channels, 10 for yellonde, 10 for kradia, and 10 in the middle where both servers come together) and people from either server can't enter the other servers 10 then this is absolutely nothing more than a merger with a "world" redirect.

Kradia and Yellonde was slightly more left-field than I expected but not far-fetched given my periodic check-ins to both and their FMs, I too, was looking at Dementhos (the Yellonde killer) and Yellonde as the first to merge. I suppose it will make it easier for me to aggregate my equips from my days in both, but now how will I get those things to Galicia...

If merging 2 servers means to add the number of channels together (in your case 19+10=29), then it could benefit scania since the players per channel ratio would go down for the larger world. But of course it would negatively impact places where people centralize in the same place, ie ch1 pq entrance and the fm

Yellonde is practically dead, Kradia has a good amount of higher level actives in the server. To my knowledge, the market in Yellonde is non-existent while Kradia tends to be better off.
Really really sucks for Kradia, tbh.

We arent that bad. Our market is run by mob rule though, most of it is can be traced back to hackers...

And our high level community isnt as dead as everyone thinks >_> Its just there not that...intellegent....and they don't use southperry >_> (Me and Satilite are the only people I think that are from yellonde who reguarly visit this forum..)

Because there are no empty servers, the goal is to maximize existing servers. If they gave Scania another world's channels that world's population would still have to go somewhere too, and if they just dumped everyone in Yellonde into the 10 channels on Demethos and gave Demthos' 10 channels to Scania that'd just be a mess and completely go against what they're trying to do by calling this an 'alliance' instead of a 'merger'.

In fact ever since the ring event ended I haven't even logged in lol. Dragon saga and open beta elsword has my soul. Oh and college has it to, especialy testing period / hell week(s)....

Yes that's true. The only plan I can imagine that to help Scania is to have people transfer out although I am not sure how effective that will be. Nexon acknowledges the high population in Scania and the problems that come with a large population may prove difficult to alleviate. I initially said that it would be nice for Scania to have extra channels since merging servers is possible and if Yellonde and Demethos are merging their channels, where would the excess come from besides a new server? I certainly did not imply we should be taking channels from other servers. I think it's possible for Nexon to provide Scania with extra channels through the use of a new server but it's probably wishful thinking. This is all wishful thinking so I'm not sure what all this fuss is about.
