I was going to use a sniper rifle as an analogy, but even for that I knew there would be arguments such as who the hell would use a sniper rifle at the range one uses a machine gun. Aka we'd end up arguing about distance issues instead. Lose lose either way. I felt the shotgun analogy was closest because it's pulling the trigger and shooting ONCE, and that both guns are acceptable to use at a close distance. Little did I expect people to nitpick at smaller details like the fact a shotgun shell is filled with loads of pellets. >_>
ANYWAY BACK ON TOPIC. Arcane Aim, how will it work? How many hits does it take to reach that 40% boost? I feel this will be what will make Mages acceptable tier as long as this is implemented correctly. If it takes around 10 hits or so to reach the full boost then it screws Mages over at bosses that put up Damage Reflect/Stuns/etc, which is pretty much all end-game bosses.

Nobody really mentioned the huge hp increase on level 100+ mobs.
Just a guess but... Wouldn't this mean they'll all get a party bonus effect? So instead of removing it from LHC, they're planning to further spread it?
After all it's just testserver, maybe they couldn't implement it on time.

I don't think anyone ever released a decent comparison for classes even for Chaos.
It's not really useful to compare mages after JUMP while they are still being tested on KMST, we have little information on how skills work and other classes haven't recieved their JUMP update yet.

I like the direction they're taking with Arch Mages as pure attackers. They did a good job of differentiating the classes too. F/Ps are much more focused on DoT while I/Ls are now more focused on crowd control.
I still think Glacial Chain needs to be buffed. It's good but not for a 4th job skill, especially when compared to Mist Eruption. They should also give a higher Stance for Infinity since it has a cooldown.
Bishops still need a lot of work. I was hoping they would upgrade Holy Shield to block every status effect...but they removed it instead xD.
Does anyone know how the new Priest skill works? It's really confusing :f6:

Oh, all right. I'm just curious because right now (in GMS), Magicians seem to be pretty bad or perhaps that's just my own misinformed opinion.

Overall... I don't know. This somehow feels like we got shafted, and it depresses me. I am waiting on what is up with the new skills, but otherwise... it just feels like we got nerfed on stuff we needed and buffed on stuff we hardly cared for.

Pretty letdown. We got multihit but we'll still be useless at any boss that matters since they didn't help us with our dispel issue. Not to mention damage increases were pretty lame.

It's like Divine Shield, but it's a party skill, and it guards 10 times before disappearing, or until the buff ends, which ever comes sooner.
The face isn't part of the skill, that's some potential I have on the hat.
Oh, and it has the same casting animation as Holy Shield.
Oh, and it guards against magic attacks too, I think, whatever that acorn spitting skill Rashes do is.

That priest skill + armor that gives +2 seconds invincibility = perfect invincibility 100% of the time (or just have 2-3 priests together).
