Original League of Legends (LoL) Thread

So what are people gonna do with their 350 RP once they get it? :O
I'mma probably just wait til a champion I'm interested in goes on sale or whatever.

Also I might be looking into the Jungling scene soon. Couple heroes I've been having my eye on are really good junglers. Brb dying to minions all the time!

I might get the Masquerade skin for Eve since its only 520 rp. (i still have 430rp from when i filled up to buy Malz on sale)

Wow lee sin is actually fun to play. I think im gonna save the 6300ip to buy since i already finished my rune page for noc.

Damn, 350 hp buys squat. I can only buy Ashe, Poppy, or Nunu (bleh), IP boost, or some random skin (goddamm the only riot skin I really want is Nightblade Irelia and she was on sale a little while ago).

You could just get the IP Boost (they usually give us IP boosts anyways, iirc).

I've been playing on a smurf account lately with my girlfriend. I wonder if she'll ever get good like us SPers?

I had the same problem. Then when I could finally start patching (it sometimes went to 2 kb/sec and then up again) it went to 0 KB/sec and stayed like that for over 15 minutes. Then when I finally had the brains to restart the launcher (it was at 96% I didn't want to cancel), I finished it and get in a log-in queue of 25 minutes. Not that bad, so I start playing my first game. We win, but the game magically crashes after I pressed continue at the victory screen. log-in queue 40 minutes <.<. Anyone else have this random crashing problem after finishing games?

Randuins nerf is so sad. I just did my first amumu game since its nerf and i didnt bother with it and got frozen heart instead. I didnt feel as tanky as i used to and took hits pretty hard compared

Also, it was another game against an enemy poppy.... GOD SHES SO ANNOYING. Her q rapes everyone and if she gets caught she just ults and runs off <__<

You could try saving it til a champion you want goes on sale. Or you could see if a 1 Day IP Boost would get you more IP for your buck so to speak.

The enemy Cho had a good early game, but I knew he wasn't going to last long. Stacked up loads of HP. NO MR. Facepalm moment. Told my DPS teammates to load up on Madreds and take him out later on. As expected, they shut him down mid-game really, really hard. He couldn't even do a thing, let alone start growing back up to size. Or even merely helping out his teammates in the tanking department. For me? I sucked a bit early game, but once I loaded up on Armor and MR, I was running around tanking like it was nothing. And dishing out my CCs.

After the game that other guy said that building HP was the best way to go. I bluntly told him if he wants to play like that, he's going to get shut down mid-game and be simply a huge ball of HP for the enemy team to chew him out very fast because DPSers can get Madreds and pretty much take him out very easily. I also reminded him of how much damage I could soak up during teamfights - without losing too much HP - with what items I had compared to what he could do with his items.

Lol don't be so impatient Corn. It's a lot more fun to just play who you want, when you want, and gradually build up IP. I've gotten to 10k IP before without even trying. I'll probably be saving my RP for future skin/champ sale, or I'll wait til I have a day where I want to play tons of LoL and pick up the bonus IP boost for a day.

The thing is, I probably won't be able to take full advantage of the full day double IP. I'm probably going to have to buy the 4-win Ip coupon, which is less efficient than the full-IP day coupon, which sucks. The reason I can't take full advantage of the full day double IP is that I'd have to win at least 4 games, which on average would take 4-8 hours, and there's no way I can play 4-8 hours of LoL in one day, even if it's during Spring Break.

I should just suck it up and buy a 4-win one .

Adjusting to the HoG changes was more difficult than I thought. I think I've got it down, though. Instead of HoG -> Negatron I have to go Negatron/Chain Vest -> HoG -> Chain Vest/Negatron.

Shen changes have forced me to learn how to ult proactively, not reactively. Makes lategame shield instagibs less surprising since your shield gets instagibbed if you use it as late as I do.

Well you can do some practice matches for 2 hours, or however many games you can fit into that time, which will be sure wins for IP, then throw in a game or two for win of the day and you're probably on par, if not better ,than a 4 win bonus. Also, if you time it right, you could play late at night, then in the afternoon the next day if you do a full day one. Just saying there's lots of options Corn.
