Who loves you? The Kill3rCombo crew, that’s who. Yes, we’re doing a character data wipe BUT (and I’m going to put this next bit in all caps so no one misses it) CBT PLAYERS WILL RETAIN THEIR NAMES!!! Well, most of you anyway. Some wonky names (single letters, obscene words, in-game and NPC names, etc.) will be trashed. Here’s the rub though; all character data will be wiped, so don’t be surprised when you log into the OBT for the first time to see empty character slots. The names you used in the CBT are tied to your account and only you can create new characters with those same names. (I better make this next sentence in all caps too) ALL UNCLAIMED NAMES WILL BE DELETED FRIDAY, 12 MIDNIGHT PDT, APRIL 29. So make sure you create your character within those first 3 days of OBT. We’ll put this up on the forum so we can field any questions you may have. Please feel free to freak out now.

Turns out I aint blocked here in Sweden after all. Downloaded the whole thing just fine. I will try it once it opens up! Going to main Raven if I stick to the game.

So whats this game like? Downloaded and installed just have to wait. Anyone care to give us noobs some tips?

Controls are simple :

Z is your basic attack
X is your stronger attack
←↑↓→ are your movement keys (↑ makes you jump)
A, S, D and C are your skill keys


The game is very combo based -- You have to string your attacks together to form fluid attack methods to run through dungeons as fast and effectively as possible.

The classes are :

Elsword
-->Sword Knight / Lord Knight
-->Magic Knight / Rune Slayer

Rena
-->Sniping Ranger / Grand Archer
-->Combat Ranger / Wind Sneaker

Aisah
-->Dark Mage / Void Princess
-->High Mage / Elemental Master

Raven
-->Sword Taker / Blade Master
-->Over Taker / Reckless Fist

Eve
-->Code Exotic / Code Nemesis
-->Code Architecture / Code Empress

Chung
-->Fury Guardian / ???
-->Shooting Guardian / ???



It's possible that Raven will be out in Open Beta, but I wouldn't count on it. Only Elsword, Raven and Aisha were in Closed Beta and Raven, Eve and Chung will show up in later patches.


There is also PvP in this game, which is available at levels 10 and higher. When you win in PvP, you get these points called "VP," or "Victor(y) Points." You can trade these points into NPCs in every town to claim special items that give nice stat boosts.

Now the most important question of all: Can i play if im not in USA? I don't want to have another DFO on my hand. unless this game doesn't use P2P for partys and PvP.

I don't know if you'll be able to play from Venezuela. My bet is no, though, since there are IP blocks in place for most places outside of North America and Oceania. =/

You can use proxies and play, though. It does use peer to peer connections, though. I don't know how bad the lag would be, however.

Also, some combo tips :

I haven't played Rena or Aisha much at all... I've only played Sword Knight/Lord Knight, Code Exotic and Sword Taker.

For Sword Knights, the best combo is : →→↑xxzzz and repeat (you can see this in the video I posted in my previous post for Sword Knights) This combo does not work for Magic Knights, though.

For Eve, Raven and Chung, the combo I found most effective was : →→↑ｚ (hit ground) zzz and repeat.


There may be better ones for Eve, Raven and Chung, though, since I mostly only ever play my Lord Knight. lol

Jeez its pretty bullshi'ting that i live a little south of america and mexico and can't play most MMOs that gets released to USA. Chance of having SouthA or LatinA servers are almost nil, otherwise we would have a few games of those already >.>. (The only game i can remember that have Latin servers is rakion and gunbound iirc but meh :/)

Well... you could play the EU version if you don't mind the german (seriously, german). =\
I might actually be in a similar situation. Sometimes I'm part of the US, other times I'm not. So eh, crossing fingers...

\I'm actually playing the EU version and I'm definitely sticking with this game until whenever. Pretty fun.
Also, I chose the Archer for a change (I tend to choose warriors first) and behold, it's the first time I've actually enjoyed playing an archer. Rena's epic, and sexy. Sexy pixels are sexy.

And now that I think about it, It's also the first time I've played as a female character (in mmorpg).
