So I recently acquired a high 14X Bishop..
#1
I have no idea what to do with it except for APQ! It has almost nothing on it, I'll be funding it with my Night Lord account, for the most part. It has 20 Gen, 15 Bahamut, 15 Angel Ray, 1 Big Bang, and some points into other skills that I forgot about. It does have 1 point into Resurrection as well. Low-LUK Bishop, indeedy~.

Out of curiosity, can a high 14X Bishop go to Wolf Spiders and spam Genesis without wasting a lot of Mesos? It has over 12k MP as well, if that helps. I'm just using it to farm Mesos and probably try to get Ilbies? -shrugs-

It has level 20 gen so each cast is 4k mp. You have to check it's damage range and see if it 1hkos WS. Should be enough without much problem at that level and I'm pretty sure you'll make profit, especially if you loot meso bags.

1. Is it trustworthy? I mean, did a random person give it to you or a real-life friend?

Well spaming gen won't be cheep but it will be very effective. I estimate that if I spam gen for 4 hours a day for 7 days a week that I spend about 20m in pots. Though I train with a DK so I have over 21k mp so it will likely cost more if you can't have a hb mule with you. I also have lvl 6 gen which is cheeper than lvl 20 gen.

The only cheep way to use gen is with infinity but it is so short and has such a long cool down timer that you won't save many mesos that way.

Good luck getting some ilbies. =)

harps drop steelies, 60% dagger, dark scarabs, golden ravens, dark rituals, and dark stud top/bottom (sellable for 1mil+ each depends on stats). i think that was all the things thats worth something. everything else is npc. ive found well over 20 steelies just by periodically going to harps from 124 - 139 (harping for around 20-30% a level). you can exchange tails for cheaper seeds or sell them to npc for decent money.

A very very very close online-friend that I've trusted for a long time now. He also gave my NL the majority of it's gear. =/ And thank you for the responses, I'll make sure to keep everything in mind. I do have a point into Infinity.

Well, if you approve of it, you can sell leech. Heard it's godly money.

I agree with butterfli, go to harps. I used to train there on 2x drop every 3 or 4 days, and I found 15 steelys. Awesome map considering you don't even have to move to hit the entire map. Even without 2x drop or getting drops at all; I atleast broke even. You're almost maxing out the monsters you can hit with Genesis. The mesos + etc is enough to break even.

If you have the patience, make the Bishop your primary and buy decent gear for it. You may be able to get into boss runs, which are also good money, and Bishops train fast. Even at 4k MP you're not spending what AMs with Ultimates spend at lvl 20. You might get to 180 or whatever and be very happy with that.

I never liked seeing other people leech off of Bishops. I doubt I'll sell leeching services.. Sure, this may be stupid of me, as I can make hundreds of millions by doing this, but it would be unfair for the rest of the MS-community that grinds their ass off to 120+. I grinded to 120 on my NL, I'm sure so can everyone else..

I'll probably try Harps then, thanks for the suggestions! =) Also, I have no access to NX at the moment, and I doubt I'll get NX for my Bishop, so.. I'll probably try manually-looting the drops and see how it is. Wink Also, are the Harp's Steely-drop rate better than a Wolf Spider's Ilbi-drop rate for you guys to suggest Harps over WS? Or is it more because of the map layout? Because it seems to be the latter.

ewwww, looting drops from gen without a pet sucks. >.<
I tried it for like one cast, then went and bought pet loots (I was considering auto pot only since I'm mostly bossing now but train my bishop maybe one day every week or two.)

I've never genesed at Harps or at Wolf Spiders, so while I can't say for sure I would iminange that the map at Harps is much more suited to genesis. At Harps you can stand in the middle and hit the Harps on all 3-4 platforms as so you can strike 15 at once. At Wolf Spiders you will be doing good to hit 2 platforms and you probably will average hitting 8 spiders at a time.

If you trulely have no nx at all, and you want ilbies for your NL I'd say go to Wolf Spiders because free lancing all the stuff from Harps and then looking for ilbies would suck. If you can get a little nx but not much so you can at least have a store you'll probably make more mesos overall at Harps. (I would suggest selling a few things in mts to gain nx for a store permit.)

Say no, seriously. Big Grin

Either way, check to see if it has gotten the deputy star or not. If it hasn't, then get it and sell it off. *50-60m in Khaini for one :X* Then you can either buy about 3 sets of llbis with it (18m each) or buy something to sell in MTS for NX funds for pet loots OR buy some nice mage gear for it. Smile W/e you like.

If it has done the quest and sold the star already (or you have it and don't want to get rid of it), you could just do aPQ and then those few NLC quests for glove attacks. It should give you some nice starting funds, just not as big as with the deputy star.

And as others said, there is always bossing.

Have fun with it, and congrats. Big Grin I can't bring myself to do anything with the 121 Bishop that I got. <_< Yay HS mule. Rolleyes

Your bishop is valuable for leeching your Night Lord. Get your Night Lord to any level that you desire. All you need for a bishop to do good damage is a wand/staff.
