You'll be spending at least a third of your time looking away from your champ, whether you're looking at the minimap or at other lanes to see if someone's in need of a Stand United. Harass with Vorpal Blade. Heal with Vorpal Blade, especially when a cannon creep shows up. Learn which walls Shen can dash through. Vorpal Blade + Ki Strike punishes overextending towerdivers. Try and grab as many people as you can with your taunt. Use your taunt to break channels. If they have ranged DPS, dash through them so that they're no longer facing your team (especially important when you're taunting Twitch and Corki). Learn effective split pushing.

And get fed hard.

On a serious note, Ray pretty much covered what a good Shen should do. Just have eyes on your teammates when your ult is available. But do note that sometimes you'll get as'sholes who will pretty much curse at you for not "saving them" at the right time. Just ignore them. There's no time to deal with selfish buttheads.

If you want to see a good Shen, play with him sometime. I had the opportunity to see him get fed very nicely today.

Just played two excellent games as Lux. Was kinda hoping to get a game in as AP Teemo, but considering I did pretty well with Lux, I don't really mind. Both teams were rather unbalanced though, the 1st with a lot of AP and the second game with a lot of AD. Was kind of amusing that I managed to win with both types.

First game I went bot with Vlad, we killed their Swain and Singed pretty well. Went like 3/2/11, and one death was a close call. First death was me being stupid and getting a little too close to the enemy team's turret with Akali under it. Second death was also due to Akali, but I almost escaped. I was just a hair shy of being under the turret with snare up. If I'd made it, even if I'd died, I'd have taken her with me. Still, we wrecked them pretty hard, with Vlad getting his 1st penta kill and easily leading us to victory.

Second game I went 7/1/16. I was mid lane against Caitlyn, and I just wrecked her. She spent more time backing to heal/run away from me than attacking minions. In fact, the only reason I died was late game during a team fight I got focused down, but we aced them and I was the only death, so it was well worth it. Gotta love a Tyrn, Nasus, Yi, and Twitch chasing down pretty much anyone unlucky enough to get caught out in the open. Or if I snared them. XP Nasus and Tyrn did most of the carrying though, tanking turrets, chasing down people, etc.

Anyway, makes me happy that I'm doing so well with her so far since I picked her up just a few days ago. I'll be trying out Nidalee, Corki, and Cass this next round. Still debating on whether to go for the remaining 3150 champs or start on the 6300 champs I want now.

Ugh. Sometimes playing with certain IRL friends want to make me rage. Like from the game I just play, my friend (on Lux) doesn't know when to get out of harm's way. Fed Ezreal as a result. By mid-game, he was hella fed. We were screwed.

Being accused of being a smurf account is pretty lulzy! This isn't the first time either, which is surprising.

Also kinda weird the new rotation has been posted, yet it hasn't occurred in game.

I love matches like these, because it goes back and forth quite a bit. Having two stealthers on the enemy team was freaking annoying. Wards everywhere!

Also I've been trying out Guardsman Bob's Xin build and it's pretty beast due to Wriggles.

I had 10 buildings destroyed as brolaf once. Ult + Viscious Strikes kills towers even when they have teammates nearby
It's like backdooring, but it's frontdooring.

Every time you're near the enemy turret just ult and VS and kill it. This forcs them to either target you, who is really hard to kill and can't be disabled, or ignore you and lose the tower

Edit: do this lategame, and when you have at least the same number of people at the tower they do

Slow is a disable.
And yeah, atmas is a good build.
If I'm bored I sometimes get triforce for damage and build straight hp and resistances
Aim for about 125 of each resistance, and get hp and atmas and kill dem towers.

Slow is a disable.
And yeah, atmas is a good build.
If I'm bored I sometimes get triforce for damage and build straight hp and resistances

Apparently Exhaust is a Disable too hahahaha.

Blinds are still effective against Brolaf though. Just a word of caution.

Not going to say much, but this was a lulzworthy match. The Rammus I was going against had no MR, and he thinks he could 1v1 me. Had the privilege of eating him 4 times.

I'll upload the footage later on. Its hella funny, that's all I gotta say.

Ptff, that Rammus probably just blindly followed one of those top guides on mobafire or leaguecraft or something. I saw another one 2 weeks ago who has the same build against 4/5 magic casters.

Purp and I played a game just now. I was Shen and had my Vlad masteries, and was 0/7/4 after 20 minutes. In the next 20 or 30 we made them surrender. I went 1/10/25 and our Revive Karthus got two triple kills. I played that game horribly personally, still confused about how we won. Lost every aspect of the game except buildings destroyed. o_o

Yeah, I've played against good ones, and she was pretty bad. It wasn't entirely her fault though, she thought she could tower dive me for a kill since i was at like 50 hp, but unfortunately for her, I snared her and ran. She died to the tower, and once I was ahead, she could never really recover. Her build was weird too. Something like Berserker boots, Zeal, and something else by the end. Maybe it was a Last Whisper? Dunno, but it wasn't a typical AD build, and she was way underfarmed so she was hardly in a positon to 1 v 1 me for most of the match.

Tower kills win games Ray. You can play a terrible game, but if you can take out towers/inhibs/base, you can still win even if you're something like 0/20/0. Still, it's not nearly as fun doing it that way, it's more of a desperation gamble type move.

Anyway, here's a quick question, for anyone that wants to answer, do you think I should start changing my masteries for other champs? I've had it set up as a tank mastery page for quite some time since I play tanks so often, and the few times I've tried to change it, I've really missed that extra survivability early game. Late game it rarely makes much difference, but early game it really does help out a ton. I find it works well regardless of type, on casters it lets them burst a hair longer to score an early kill, on auto attackers it lets you get an extra hit in or two, and on tanks it obviously improves their survival rates by tons.
