Black and White recent happenings thread!
I did say that =O.

It can still rape you with just Leech Seed and Protect, though.

Video #: 15-61213-20048

People do this a lot, but with Aron Rolleyes Easy to counter :>

didn't expect the most common pokemon to break free from 4 quick balls, 3 dusks balls, and ~10 net balls. normally i only use basculin to ev train for speed. thanks nintendo, for making a bunch of areas with 100% encounter rates for 1 ev type! so much easier!

There's a guy who trades you a Basculin for a Minccino in Clay's town (don't remember name).

Going into E4 with:

Eelektross - 45
Vanilluxe - 47
Krookodile - 45
Archeops - 45
Samurott - 46
Darmanitan 44

Hoping it goes better than it did on my Black version. None of my Pokemon have been traded to Black for training, either.

go level up a bit. Otherwise the last two fights are gonna be near impossible. (still doable with enough strategy)

Already hopped in, kicking butt. Just got the fighting guy left. Been alternating fighting with training at MP3.

This is not maple, wtp is MP3
I'd love to battle you guys, but my teams aren't complete without the items I'm getting from the subway. ;_;
I have to use my pomegranate teams from heartgold, the teams I made with pokemon who are strong, saying F U to strategy. GETTING DESTROYED BTW
I want to make a baton passing lunatone, gonna be awesome. Get a wideguarder or something that can protect the other, maybe even a heal waver, have my lunatone keep spamming cosmic power, and rock polish then switch out to my steelix or something who will use some more stat up moves and have baton pass ready just in-case they may die to switch to steelix. Idk how it may work, although it was going good on pokemon online.

He means that he's switching between playing on the DS and playing maplestory (training in magatia path 3)

Also, wide guard does not prevent damage from single target moves such as... most moves. It only prevents attacks that hit both of your pokemon (such as surf). Also wideguard is like protect, in that repeated use has a 50% lower successrate each time you use it (multiplicatively).

actually, ive found wide guard to be quirky and inconsistent. i havent tested it much, but its worked against a rockslide and failed against a surf and i expect it would fail against earthquake as well. as long as your 2nd pokemon doesnt have water absorb / levitate or air balloon.

Took out the E4 and Alder today. Finally getting a chance to listen to that awesome credits theme again (sans reshiram. :<) made me want to run out of class and break something.

Team:

Darmanitan:Level 70
Braviary: Level 67
Excadrill:Level 74
Samurott: Level 73
Zoroark: Level 70
Haxorus: Level 74

Beat the E4 on the way home from a soccer game. Hydreigon was easy enough. Missed my Vanilluxe with Focus Blast letting me loose an Ice Beam. Ghetsis pulled some combo with Metal Sound from Klingklang then Zoroark for a Focus Blast killing my Darmanitan quickly. End of E4 team:

Darmanitan - 50
Vanilluxe - 48
Archeops - 49
Eelektross - 45
Zekrom - 50
Samurott - 47
(Levels changed to what they should be.)
Didn't even use the 2 Rare Candies I had laying around Frown.

Oh, hey! My team as of now:

46 Reuniclus
45 Serperior
45 Chandelure
44 Eelektross
43 Carracosta

Just got the 7th Badge before I quit playing last. Gonna get on again now and enter Dragonspiral! I have no idea what I'm going to train for my sixth Pokemon.

It seems like you need an ice/dragon type for all of the dragons.

Get a Vanilluxe or the like. Beartic is a decent attacker, but somewhat fragile and slow. Haxorus works well, also.
Reply
Ew, the Ice types are all so ugly and stupid. I have considered Haxorus, though.
