He was somewhat famous on youtube before he became mainstream, and started posting videos in 2007. His hair wasn't... how should I put it... as 'groomed' (lol?) as what he known for now, he looked kinda grubby on some of his pre-fame videos. I do remember seeing his little face all over youtube few years back, never watched his videos though. I doubt she copied him but who knows.
