It is a nickname Ray.

I forgot about this topic. I was on the road for a few days after posting it and just completely forgot. Between Sarah and Jon you guys translated it right. Thanks for the compliments. I apologize for the bad quality picture.

I really made this topic out of pure curiosity. I was reading a copy of the U.S. Declaration of Independence and was really interested in how much the way certain words are formed has changed, which got me interested in seeing how other people write.

I know some people hate cursive, that's okay. I didn't write much of anything for a very long time, and when I got back into school I found it a lot easier to make my writing both orderly and timely with cursive than with manuscript. I pretty much can't write in a straight line if I don't have lined paper.

As for the phrase "make antiquated," I honestly don't know where I heard it first or if it's even a common phrase, but it's pretty much a fancy way of say "to make obsolete due to time." It doesn't entirely fit the context, I guess, but I didn't really put much thought into the whole thing.

I was thinking this too. "I wish my cursive was that nice"

I should figure out how to use my Dad's scanner and post a sample of my lesser cursive. And my 7s. Cross them like the French because it looked cool in 6th grade.

Dad says my handwriting's messy, mom says it's fine. Various opinions from others.

 Spoiler

Don't ask me to write in cursive because it'll be disastrous.

It's good enough. As long as people are able to easily understand it's fine (in my eyes).
