Original League of Legends (LoL) Thread
dante9898 Wrote:SO aparently i suck with blitzcrank because i went AD/DPS instead of tank. What?

Isnt Blitz tanky ap?
Honestly, i'd never play AD/DPS blitz if i'm not with friends, there are better tanky DPSs out there.
Playing with strangers -> tank blitz, IMO. For the team's sake atleast.
If you're just playing with friends, do whatever you want.

Skills says otherwise:

Q Does Meh damage with high Mana cost at lvl 1 (140mana) late game mana cost is nothing.

W Skill increase Attack Speed and Movement Speed for 8secs with 75mana cost.

E Skill Doubles your total AD and knocks enemy Up (Good to use it with Sheen Item).

R Skill has a passive that inflict 150-250-300 magic damage to the nearest Enemy every 2.5sec and Active inflict 300-400-500 magic damage in a area and silence enemys for 0.5secs, mana cost is 175.

Innate is mana shield, when you hp drops to 20%, the CURRENT (Not the max amount) amount of 50% of your mana becomes a shield for 5-10secs iirc, it has a CD of 60secs.

Q and R have long CDs (20-16 and 60sec CD respectively), While W (17sec) and E (8-6secs) have short ones.

I would play Tanky but:

1) i suck with tanks, i really don't know how to play a tank well and honestly i don't want to/care to :/
2) My runes are mostly Armor Penetration and critical rate, so going tanky its a waste for me.
3) I liked the AD/DPS side of Blitz not the Tanky one.
Dante i'll wait for you to realize what 3/4 of his skills do.
f3

Edit: Thing is, i find a lot of odd builds fun.
But if you do odd builds you got to expect being ragged on, just like if i'm in a ranked game and see a AP kog'maw that'll bother me since that's a waste of his potential as a carry.
Just like in a normal set-up DPS blitz is a waste compared to tank blitz with items such as frozen heart, omen and the likes. 3 of his 4 skills DISABLE enemies and 1 of them get them out of position.
This is counting silence as disable, it stops channeling spells and can be quite bothersome.
IM not retarded and know what 3 of those 4 skills do, and i use them in the best way posible to kill them in a 4-6 hit combo. I simply don't know how to play tank and im not gonna play something i would most likely suck just so my Party started raging about me being a crappy tanker. If they gonna rage then i rather like it to be because i suck as a DPS instead (And i do suck as one from time to time, Its annoying adjusting yourself to Tankers Build and still forget to check enemy builds from time to time to counter tankers. Even more so because tankers get the upper hand in the whole bsns you counter them or not).

It sound retarded but thats how i look at it.
Then you can't really complain about people nagging when you choose to play a build that is worse than the standard. Especially if your team lacks a tank.
Ok i really suck with blitz. At least when i played lux i won 2 of my first 3 games, but with blitz only lose after lose in 3vs3 maps :/

He looked good but i guess hes not for my playstyle.
You have to be pro at skillshots to play Blitzcrank X____X.

You really should try being a tank, ha ha.
I can do some awesome skill shots with lux and Noc but somehow i uber fail them with Blitz. Guess its because it just drag the first thing he grabs.
I think it's the hardest skillshot in the game.
Lux's and Nocturne's aren't true skillshots, true skillshots are the ones that stop moving after hitting a target. Amumu's Bandage Tosses, Blitz's grabby thing, and Ashe's ult are examples.
Wait, Lux's stun ain't a skillshot?
Lux's snare is a skillshot, except it catches 2 targets.
I though skillshots were those that you had to manually aim without any kind of autotrack after you left click the target.

And by your definition Lux is indeed a Skillshot but it stop on the second mob it hits not the first one.
I was thinking of the laser, forgot about... pretty much every targeted snare in the game.
Close game, but we lost >_>

Pulled a Yi and did a BD at their mid inhibitor (it was hella funny when I stealthed afterwards and they were running around trying to find me; it amazes me that they did not have oracles to shut me down. Had they used oracles, I would've been history 10 times over), and was about to go do another one late game, but I was killed during a teamfight during base defense.

Now I can say that Twitch is a freaking beast when he's let loose. But I really, really need the carry protection. Frown

Note: If anyone wants to see the footage of this game, I can make it available upon request. Again, this requires LoL Recorder program to see it.
What the hell was your Ashe doing?
Rayquaza2233 Wrote:What the hell was your Ashe doing?

That was what I was wondering. >_>
Probably got destroyed by Blitzcrank. He has 31 assists!

Ashe ult isn't true either, because it goes through minions.
Bored, so gonna list all the true skillshots:

Amumu bandage toss
Blitz arm
Cait peacemaker*
Corki missiles*
Mundo cleaver
Ezreal blue thingy
Kennen shuriken
Lux snare*
Morg snare
Nidalee spear
Sivir boomerang*
Urgot acid hunter
*hits multiple targets, but with reduced effect

Rayquaza2233 Wrote:What the hell was your Ashe doing?

The only time I remember doing that poorly was my first game as Ashe.

In unrelated news, Olaf op.
