Now I carry my fucking lucario for fucking priority moves >_>;

That doesn't make sense - how could it hang on with a focus band but also have a quick claw?

How do the power band items help with breeding if i may ask. I hope i didnt waste my time making all these eggs with right nature\ability without using those items O.o.

Two? More like three.

There is no way to get the following

Keldeo
Genesect
Meloetta

without resorting to cheats.

When you breed, the offspring will inherit three random IVs from a random parent. Having a Power band will insure that you get a certain IV from the parent. For example, if a Ditto is holding the Power Anklet, the baby will always inherit the speed IVs of the Ditto.

Has it always been like this, or just in Gen 5?

I believe this started in Gen IV. Too lazy to do subway, I hate competitive battling seeing how much time it takes just to get a decent team prepared.

I got a question about this. Lets say, I have an att band equip to one parent that has max att IV, and a speed band equip to the other parent with speed IV maxed. Will the offspring be able to get both IV maxed or will it just pick a random one out of the two equipped?

It will recieve both IV's. Only downside to this is that if you do that you can't use an everstone to pass down a desirable nature. Though that isn't as much of a problem if neither parent has the nature you want in the first place, and they have desirable IV's.

Hmm i just tested it out. Got 10 eggs, 7 of them had both IV maxed, but the other 3 only had one of the parent's IV maxed o.o I think more testing is needed xD But I guess this proves that there is STILL some probability to this.

However, I will affirm the fact that if you only equip one band, you will always get that one stat. Tried it out as well, all 10 eggs had maxed attack IV when only one parent had band equiped.

However, im doubting if everstone equips are even that helpful...i get like 3 of the offpsring with the nature I want and a lot of the times i get the nature that is the complete opposite of the nature I want! Such as i equip an everstone to an speed increase with defense descrease nature, a lot of the time i get speed DECREASE and defense INCREASE natures! LOL

Started doing that in either Platinum or HG/SS, but I think it was HG/SS.

Corn Wrote:You can't breed DW abilities.

Sorry for the double post, but you can. But ONLY if the dw ability is on the female. So if his dw vulpix is female, it has a 50% chance of passing down the trait. If its male, you will never get the dream world ability on offspring.

EDIT: Wait what? I know the pokemon dream world event ones cant be female [ kanto starters, eevee evolutions ] But i never heard of a restriction of only male from dream world itself o.o

Yes there are, they're the only ones that can carry over the DW ability.
