The culprits behind these exploits and all those associated with them will be dealt with. We are not considering a roll back so if you wish to play MapleStory you may do so without any repercussions. We caution you not to be associated with exploiters in any way possible.

That makes a grand assumption that the topic starter is the person who found the hack. This isn't always the case. Nexon has already shut down other hacking websites, but it's just playing whac-a-mole and never really gets rid of the hackers.

I can guarantee you that Nexon knows all of the hacking sites and visits them regularly.

That's a surprisingly competent thing to expect from nexon.

No it wasn't. Hackers used to go through great lengths to hide what they did. That meant keeping to themselves and hacking in remote locations where no legit would ever go.

Yeah, hackers would hide in far away maps from players, run away when getting seen, etc. Now they all smega their "achievements", and DC hack people if someone has objections.
