RK VS the regular 1h sword

anyone know which one is better...with actual evidence?

Not sure what a "regular" 1h sword is? Do you mean fast(4) vs. fast(5)?

What do you mean "evidence"?

RK is faster than most other 1h swords in the game, and the highest level Fast(4) sword besides the rare and untradeable level 120 Lunchbox. If you want "evidence" other than the numbers posted all over this section, get an RK and a "regular 1h sword" and count how many brandishes you can do in 1 minute.

However, higher level swords have higher base attack and can have better potential stats (being in the third potential tier, while RK is in second).

The one which is better also depends on your total attack from other equipment (shield, gloves, etc). It's not as simple as simply saying on is better than the other.

With boss damage potentials stacking in kms (now? only on DB's?) the RK is extremely competitive again. BUT only on bosses and with specific potentials and when you don't have SI. For training if you 1 hit with the RK or kill faster with it, it's better. Whenever you have SI it's going to be worse as fast 5 swords with higher attack will still just hit the speedcap.

Just to list a few things it depends on:
-Total attack you have from other sources.
-How much money you can spend on Cubes.
-How good is your shield.
-How well scrolled a RK you can get.
-How well scrolled a reverse (or other) weapon you can get.
-What potential you have on them.
-Whether you have SI or not.
