Microsoft word is too expensive

I need a torrent or a free .doc program that can run save files for Microsoft word in .doc format.

It wont let me download anymore free trials.

Noob. I have 2003 on mine for free.

Use OpenOffice.

Google docs works. I have a key for Office 2010 home, if you'd be inclined to pay a little fee, much cheaper than anywhere else.

As Cyadd said, Google Docs is a great alternative to pirating/paying/hugedownloads.

I suggest openoffice. Google Docs I have heard nothing but good things about.

I use OpenOffice. Not fancy and all, but it definitely gets the job done.
