LF> More MMOs to play
#1
I am looking for some more MMOs to try out/play. I've been unsuccessful in my attempts to find some to try out of recent, and would like some recommendations.

Single player PC game suggestions are also welcome.

What kind of MMO?

Shooter? RPG? 3D? 2D? Fantasy? Sci-fi?

What's that game where you fly around in space ships and shoot other space ships? I know that is as vague as a description could possible be but that's the entire game. It's basically Starfox 64: Online, it was pretty fun idk why or when I stopped playing but I remember playing it two or so years ago.

it used to be called space cowboy online until gpotato dropped it and as far as i know another company's picked it up under the moniker ace online. PvP, GvG, and NvN (nation vs nation) is what the game's built around, all no skills or stats, your increase in level just lets you swap out frames and equipment. you just have to grind to a high enough level to take out people in other factions.

Doesn't matter to me. Not looking for a particular genre, as I enjoy basically everyone out there.

Eh... I don't look at all the MMOs and stuff, but this one guy (MikeB aka Fony) makes humorous video reports for ZAM called the BFF Report. This is just one out of several review sources on the interwebs, but he regularly gets into betas for MMOs that are good, or are supposedly a next big thing to happen.

I played it in closed/open beta, but once it hit live I lost my interest in it.

Well, you could wait until Portal 2 comes out.

Or play League of Legends.

Or battle Pokemon with Pokemon Online T____T.

You could try out Atlantica Online since Nexon just picked it up. Its a pretty fun game if you don't mind turn-based combat.

Played it for 2 years. Became a top PvPer for several months. Quit back in December for Maple because nDoors is a piece of pomegranate, and the PvP became utterly broken.

Vindi was pretty goddamn easy in beta. Maybe you should check it out again to take a look at some of the new boats. As for MMOs, you can probably check out Dragon Nest when it opens up.

Yeah, I plan to, but who knows when that'll be. I've also been looking forward to SWTOR and Huxley, but both are far from seeing the light of day.

What MMOs have you tried? What didn't you like about them?

You could always play Grand Chase -trollface-
But you could wait on Elsword to go live, it seems to be decent.

 Spoiler

I've played more but I can't remember them all, and not all are registered on my xfire.

Maybe Knight Online? Caution: full to the brim with Turks. Almost no English players anymore.

I'd suggest DFO or Wonderking. That's only me though.

@Secun: I already tried grand chase, and it's not THAT bad. Just DFO with mapleish graphics and gameplay.

And a hellish need for Cash gear or else you get outclassed by everyone in PVP.

OP: You could try City of Heroes/Villians, they were pretty fun.
