No problem, it's LooseW. I only play on the weekends, though. During the week, it's my brother that's playing.

Does the option for simple/normal controls go away after you acquire enough characters or get enough player points?

There's a way to make it go away in Options/Settings, I think it's called Operating Mode. That's the first thing I did when I started the game, removed Simple mode as an option.

Well the fact I ranked up to 9th Ranger means not only am I fighting people a very noticeable tier above the scrubs/normal players, but also makes the Sentinel health nerf more of a liability that I expected now that I've essentially hit experienced/good players territory. Time to take it from the top again in training mode. Side-note, I'm going to try to learn how to use Hulk and Dante.

The hubby went to Starbase tonight and actually beat Filipino Champ one game before he got bodied. I'M SO GODDAMN PROUD OF HIM!

How does one use iron man? There's only one combo on him I find worth using whenever possible.

Bought shuma gorath today. He's awesome once I get them in a combo, but I'm having a lot of trouble approaching people. Am I supposed to use mystic smash to get near?

Best team I've put together so far. Working really well, consistently too.

Shuma gorath (mystic ray), Iron man (unibeam), Wesker (Samurai Edge).

The extended combos wesker gives shuma are insane... I can even kill one person on their team, assuming they're soft enough, in one combo and iron man just helps so much with unibeam letting me approach much more easily.

Made a few changes to my team. Swapped out iron man for magneto and put him as my last character (anchor). He's much easier to play (I think, or maybe I'm just bad with IM) and faster. I don't know. I really like his playstyle more. If only magneto looked as cool as iron man

Holy balls.... how does he spam those air heavies? I see a lot of air dashes but don't get how he's doing it...

I knew magneto was good but holy balls....

odd that they didn't open with wesker, seeing as he's one of the best batteries in the game.

I wish I knew the answer to how he was spamming those air moves almost like an infinite. It's insane what Magneto did to the other team all on his own.

Nevermind, found out how he was doing it. After his first M-M-H in the air he flight cancels and keeps doing air M-H-Dash until the flight ends.

He's Yipes. Thats how. And jesus christ, just gave me another reason to panic when I play this game.

Right. So now they think they should charge us for the butt boring Shadow Mode? Sure it is just a dollar or so, but come on. It is just glorified arcade mode for heavens sake. I do like the new event missions they added for free.

What are you guy's opinions on Controller vs. Pad? I use a PS3 controller since I'm naturally used to it, but I'm thinking about switching to a pad since I heard that button presses respond faster/I am super clumsy with the controller, I can't help but seem to botch up every move I attempt to do with it 40% of the time. If you have both, which do you prefer/feel is easier to use?
