About time something was done. Only took them, what, half a week to realize channels were crashing?

I wouldn't be surprised if there's a log somewhere that keeps track, but it's flooded with so many errors they don't understand that they can't see the important ones.

A question for those who ever bought Cash Shop items using Maple Points only to experience a rollback afterwards: Did you lose those Cash Shop items during the rollback, and were those Maple Points ever returned?

I asked this because I bought a Permanent Ruby and Permanent Wing Boots using my 16k Maple Points from the rollbacks last year, and now I'm wondering if a theoretical rollback would result in them being lost, with the Maple Points not being restored on top of that. If it matters, I left them in the Cash Shop inventory. Even though I still have my doubts on whether or not there will be a rollback.

no word about RB. so you shouldn't worry about it. nexon only RB when mesos are injected in the market by an exploit. i don't remember nexon doing a RB because of item duping

Dammit, I was on a 90 hour streak of Maple.

We’re doing much better on game and server stability today than we were in the past. Game downtime is lower than ever and the amount of bugs reported in the live game is down. -Eurydice

Really? Haven't we had like 4 rollbacks in the last couple of months? I would have just a tiny bit more respect for Nexon if they own up to their own incompetence and tell us the truth and say "Yeah.... We suck, but were really trying and hoping to get better programmers to replace the monkeys we sit in front of computers".

I'm fairly optimistic about there being no rollback, because they announced the game will be down for 2 hours. That means they have a plan of action fairly mapped out (and it might have started with the MTS shutdown).
The ones that end with a rollback usually begin with a "maple is down until further notice, we'll keep you informed", which means "we have no idea what we're up against or how to fix it, all we know for now is that it can't be allowed to go on."

I'm curious as to how you managed to survive all the channel crashings. It seems like every channel got hit on my server.

Wow, they actually admitted that it's a hack. They don't typically do that.

Although it probably looks better for them than letting people believe their servers are unstable.

I don't know. All I know is I'm gunna go abuse this now.

EDIT: Reward was 8889 Exp, and 2x drop for 30 minutes and a Forsythia (heals 2000 HP) Quest also seems like it's repeatable instantly, abuse anyone?
EDIT2: Azalea awards 2x Meso drop while Forsynthia awards 2x Item drop.

Nexon totally gave us free 2x Drop throughout this event.
