L> tips on how to carry with Karthus.

Either I:

1) Ult too early. My teammates get the easy kill(s), and I rack up assists instead. God I need to be a douche with that champ, lol >_>

2) Need tips on farming with Karthus, as I need to get fed really hard so I can start rampaging. I use his Q skill to farm, but its somewhat tricky given how I miss last-hitting minions with that skill at times. :\

Tip number 1: Lrn2 suicide lolz. For real, in those mid to late games fights where everyone is close just rush to the middle of them and kill yourself and after that start laying waste with your skill. And i suggest to not use your ult in those 8 secs of extended life unless you can time them well since the ult is a 3 sec channeling. Use it before if you want.

Tip Number 2: lrn2 shen, i mean, lrn2 watch every fights very quickly while still being present on your own lane, you could get a kill if you are lucky (Don't count of an assist, a karthus on my team once didn't get assist with his ult when i killed someone).

Also don't go suicide alone. At least bring 1 or 2 friends with you or all the gang if its necesary. Also early suicides are never good, do those in mid-late game when the laning fase its oficially over.

For last hitting with Lay waste try to hit only 1 enemy for double damage.

I was nabbing a lot of your last hits. >_> Don't beat yourself up too much on that. Always room for improvement, but yeah... I'm a thief. That was a spectacular game though. All 4 of my games today were spectacular, decisive wins with great scores. Feels good mang.

I think my recently developed love for Marvel vs Capcom 3 has drained my love for LoL. Played a game today for the first time in like... a month and it wasn't very fun to me. Maybe it was because we lost and I was doing poorly after not playing for so long.

First of all...

You're not supposed to abuse Death Defied like that. Karthus is technically a ranged (squishy) carry, and to be an effective carry, you cannot die, obviously. I want to stay alive, but I want to do damage to the other team by getting fed and using Requiem (ult) when I see perfect opportunities to do so.

(I'm still trying to find ways to be a douchebag good Karthus (causing the opponents to ragequit havoc to the other team). Only had him for a day...still fresh with playing him)

Death Defied is there to let you shank anyone for a short duration (aka get back at the enemies that had killed you and are close by) after you die.

Its better to die in the middle of the fight that dieing running away. But like i told ya you gotta abuse when you can.

WHAT i did forget to add very well its that is no reason to die every friggin time, nobody likes that i know. But if you about to die, do it with a BANG bro.

Played Irelia for the first time since the stupid glitchy patches where she loses her line of sight.

Man, such sweet pwnage. Went 10/0/13 (most assists btw), got a couple double kills, a triple, and all the bells and whistles of being the most hated champion xD

Also, Djinn as Akali and I went bottom lane and pretty much blew up whoever got too close to our grass patch. I would be sure to take a little damage first before doing this of course, but whenever they would facecheck, I hit the stun, and we would unload. This includes their so-called tanks. Alistar? Nah, you're dead. Nunu? Not even the minions will keep you alive through double Exhaust and Ignite, three rounds of Akali luv and true damage Irelia xD

Use it before if you want. tbh this one is true ONLY if you get a kill too. suicide karthus is one of the most annoying things ever if done right.. But the ult thing you recommended is bad. using the ult during cast is one of the best things you can do since it cannot be interrupted while in ghost form. If you're alive a cc can stop the ult from going off completely.

Karthus' ult gets both assists and kills. But true map awareness is key for him.

In all honesty karthus is one of the biggest easy mode champs ever. Very dull playstyle and easy to pick up. His q uses very little mana, carry clarity and you will NEVER and i repeat NEVER run out of mana by spamming Q. Sure if you keep defile on all day it will drain but honestly he's a pretty easy champ to pick up zone them like cait and just free farm. Mejai is a must on him, too easy to get kills / assists.

Nawwwwwwwww it wasn't fun cause you noob miguel. Dc'd to start and was kinda lost during the game. Tbh the same thing happened to me when i took my week break from LoL to play assassins creed. I was doing terrible for a bit but it came back ^^. logon more noob i'll play akali just for you <3

not true, karthus can actually benefit more from being suicide karthus if he ensures a kill.. Many karthus's actually play this way.

Pretty funny stuff today, If any of you guys been watching the CLG stream. "The Rain Man" got keylogged by NoS and then a few min later, "HotShotGG" supposedly got keylogged as well. Now they're both supposedly banned.

I actually went on a .tk site like 2 weeks ago by clicking something on the forum without realising. It didnt load but i virus scanned/malware scanned twice and got nothing so i guess i got lucky..

Be careful with those sites eddikins and others. They run a RAT which is a remote access tool that lets them get complete control over your computer. Think along the lines of if you have ever worked with a tech support remotely either at work or at home... that is a freakin scary thought. It means they can not just read your keystrokes but can SS things, operate the webcam, run scripts, install/uninstall etc.

I promise you Will that next time you see me online I will play some games with you with me as karthus bro. I know I keep saying I'll get to it, but now I'm promising. The only exception is if you catch me
right before I logout to go do something important. Also you are correct, suicide karthus is a bad bad idea, and karthus may be easy to pick up but he has one of the highest skill cap:return ratio in the game. His skillcap:return is right up there with anivia in terms of what is possible to get out of the champ.

A game-breaking "I can't see anything" glitch.

It seems to happen for certain people only. On more uncommon occasions, people get it on different champions.

Wow. 2 games in a row that we should NOT have winned because they had a higher advantange than us, and all of a sudden we manage to kill 4 out of 5 of their team and Push like crazy till the nexus. i mean... WOW talking about a close call here.

And for a funny moment: One of my team warded baron with a clear view of his hp, i (Playing as lux) started running like crazy till i had baron in my Ult range and waited till baron hp got low, then BANG ult baron ass and stole the buff for my team XD.

So I was playing a late-night game with my real life friends....and for the last game of that night, it ended very weird.

We were losing badly. To make things short, they got Baron, took our base turrets and inhibitors out, and were hitting away at the Nexus. However, what happened was that they intentionally surrendered just before they finished off our Nexus. Since they did it right before they killed our Nexus, we got the victory.

We all lulzed, wt'fed, you name it. Then we wondered if they were just trolling/f'ucking with us.

Fortunately, I did record this on LoL Recorder; if anyone wants to see this match, I'll have the file uploaded per request. Though if I do show this to my friends later on, it'll generate lots of lulz.

Which Quintessence runes are the best for casters, like Karthus? (I'm currently using my HP flat and HP5 Quintessences on a temporary basis, lol)

Just downloaded this game to see what it was all about and I have to say that for the 4 games that I played that I absolutely love it! I only tried 2 champions yet and I really sync well with the second one I picked: Lux. I only played against bots but trapping enemies with the first spell works well when you're either running away from enemy troops or you want to kill an enemy hero. Then there is the second spell which I level up very late because I don't see much use in it... Then her third spell is awsome for leveling quickly since I can usually get 6 little mobs in it. Then her cannon like amazing last spell which is just plain awsome and overkill . Looking forward to playing some other champions then her and see if they all have awsome move sets.

EU server or NA server?

Were there a lot of Euros on the NA server on Thursday/Friday, or was it just me?
