Edit: One more to add: "Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles". Possibly the best anime I've ever watched since Kemono no Souja Erin, and definitely the first since Erin
that had such amazing character development.

Recommending the King of Thorn movie. Genre is psychological, slight scifi, action maybe. Bleh, its just an awesome movie.

The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya - Recommended

Shuffle! - I would like to say recommend and not recommend, but im pulling all for not recommend. The story drags horribly on all the sub plots for each girl, and is annoying to that end. The animation also is jerky. As for the ending, I didnt really like it one bit. It was extremely self centered in my opinion (mainly talking about how he dealt with Kaede).

It's a slow anime, but if you're in love with comedy romance it's quite a watch <3.

I found this series somewhere, not sure entirely where, but I liked it almost from the start, and liked every episode as well. Its somewhat in the same vein as Ore no Imouto in the way the story works out, but I actually found this series to be funnier than Ore no Imouto.


Nogizaki Haruka no Himitsuurezza | Comedy | Romance, Ecchi | 12 - Recommend

Sequel to the one above (derp), this one basically continues the first, but is noticeably more erotic in some areas, and in some ways resembles a harem, but never gets near to actually becoming one. To compare it, Its like a mix between B Gata H Kei and Ore no Imouto, where the two main characters seem to try and try to kiss each other, but never end up able to, while still loosely trying to keep the secret from the season before.

Recently watched Mai-HiME, a brilliant show, i really loved the diverse cast of characters and how some of the girls weren't revealed to be superpowered until near the conclusion.

Great voice acting, very funny, lots of likable characters and a rather dark plot once you get into it. And lots and LOTS of schoolgirl lesbians.

I'm adding recommendation for Code Geass and Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi. Abenobashi had an incredible first half but a terrible second half, but I still recommend it just for the first half.

I'm currently watching Mushi-shi due in part to this thread.

We all grow up and mature our tastes. I watch some anime when I was starting that today I wouldn't be able to bear.

I am starting into this, having watched only Ika Musume and Madoka Magica (without counting the obvious as Dragon Ball, Pokemon, Digimon, Sakura, etc).

If this thread is still going, I recommend [C] The Money of Soul and Possibility Control.

It's a cool new anime, the second episode was released just yesterday.
