Are pet equips potentiable?

Seeing as we can get the permanent pet equips, I was wondering if anyone has tried potentialling? I remember when the potential system was posted here, there was something about potential on pet equips (including % droprate iirc).

Doesn't work.

Someone posted in one of the new pet gear threads that they were unable to potential these items.
I'd assume they can't be Enhanced, either.

Cash Shop equips can't be destroyed, which might be the reason.
