Ive seen this tread in the Technical Help section before and cant quite recall
its a program/software/website? that cleans out the computer completely and installs basic programs such as internet explorer, windows media player, etc

You'd need an operating system install disc to do that. Is there something called a "recovery CD" that came with your computer?

At times like this, we wish Southperry weren't warez-sensitive. I wonder how many people actually keep those discs with which they have no clue what to do.

Let alone to know that they should order them. Most companies these days in an attempt to lower their prices make recovery discs optional and not mandatory. This catches people by surprise when their machine gets royally screwed when for $10 they have a perfect recovery disc that's more than worth the price.

it had something to do with being able to choose your own web-browsers and anti-virus and other program related stuff
