Original League of Legends (LoL) Thread

I fixed my computer and it works perfectly again, but the game remains unplayable for me, with lowest settings on everything, I can't play. I know FOR A FACT that my computer can run the game on highest settings for everything, but ever since last patch my screen freezes every now and then, be it in team fights or when the camera is at a minion camp, or anywhere.... I REALLY hope they fix it with the upcoming patch cause otherwise I'll have to be done with LoL for a while, in fact I doubt I play much if I play at all until next patch.

If anyone has tips on how to run the game smoothly like it should run, PLEASE give me them.

He uh, knows. I duo queue with him almost every day and we're both level 30.

Almost as annoying as the 5-man premade where they all get BV and GA. And they all have fortify/teleport.

the thing is, we are not meaning it to be some troll build or something that everyone has to do for it to work.

Heart of gold and philo stone are both extremely cost effective regardless of the gold per 5 and provide amazing stats for laning(regen, health and armor). Lets you do very well in lane and boost "farm" on poor farming champions(think how poppys tend to stack philo stones). So you start out philo stone on mana champs and then build boots one and stone HoG. My friends are sold on getting ninja tabi due to the low cost and good laning stats, but im not so sure about them, i just get my normal boots. They do sell them later and get normal boots. You start your normal build about 20 minutes in.

I dont know the exact numbers for this game, yes we crushed them, but our janna(lowest gold) earned 2k more gold than kat(enemy highest) with the rest of our team having atleast double of the rest of theirs. Certainly worth a try and works well on most champs, amazing on tanks, tanky dps and support. Annie does kinda counter this hard, but grab a negatron as your 4th item.

Sorry, from the way your team was talking it seemed like you purposely did a build you thought was funny.
I agree with your points too. They are good items. They build into some useful items too (DFG, ghostblade, shurelia's and the one with the slow active who's name escapes me.)

nah i wasnt mad at you or anything like that, mostly just wanted to talk about it lol DD

but yea all the trolling is because their mundo kept saying troll build, give us a rematch. so they were just messing with him.

Just tried Galio. I'm not sure what to think of him. He's useful for his ult, but the rest of his skills . . . well they kinda sucked imo. His gust was kinda useful for getting back to lane/chasing, but the rest of his kit just felt kinda meh. The delay on his stare makes it far less useful than say nunu's iceball for slow, or ashe's arrows, or any number of skills. The MR to AP was kinda useful, but I felt like I should have built him hybrid to take advantage of that, and I don't like hybrid tanking much. Hmm, perhaps I should have gone full AP/CDR with Zhonya's and Abyssal being my main tanky items, Morello's for CDR, Merc Treads/Ionian Lucidity depending on who I'm against, Rabadon's for AP, and B Veil or GA or something else for the last slot. Hmmm, have to think about it some more I guess and then maybe give him another try.

Only because the vast majority of the players are level 30. Wait that was obvious wasn't it.

It tends to even out at mid elo range and higher. While you're more likely to get a fair game, you're pretty much guaranteed to get a rager every other game or so in a solo queue.

galio has been hit pretty hard by the nerf bat recently and havent seen him played much since that happened. Before his gust and laser or whatever it is did a good amount of damage and he could just own a lane and later own in teamfights since he was far ahead in farm. Now i think he is kind of a one skill champ which is kinda sad.

Galio's pretty cool, and is a weird tanky dps because he does magic damage. Stuff like abyssal scepter and rylais are pretty cool on him. His ultimate is pretty nice too, but just make sure your team is paying attention. He also works really well on maxed cdr.
However, you are correct about his other skills. He was nerfed really bad and no one really plays him anymore.

Yeah, his ult was pretty awesome late game since I got like 4 out of the 5 bots in the game I was in taunted, but that was like 1 time out of the entire game. The rest of the game I was pretty lucky to get 2 bots in it, and usually I died doing so since they focused me regardless. Plus with it's uber long cd, it's hard to have it up when you want it sometimes. Dunno, like I said, I'll play around with it, I play Nunu as a tanky caster, so maybe I just need to do the same with Galio for him to work.
