I'd break this game in half.

The only thing they need to fix is X-Factor.

They either need to make it have a constant time and variable power/speed, or have a variable time and constant power/speed.

I'd be happier with constant power/speed (somewhere between lv 1 and 2) and variable time.

I think I finally found a good team I can stick with. Undefeated for four games in ranked so far (lol).

Hsien-Ko as opener, Wesker, and zero. I'll probably replace zero with shuma once I buy him. I tried dante in his place but it's just too hard for me to start combos on dante for some reason.... they always seem to block my normals.

That's what I do with her, though mainly rushing them with zero and wesker, not haggar. She's actually swept quite a few times for me with level 3 x-factor + 5 hyper gauges. When I switch her in I mainly approach using the gong reflector and make an approach or just use the pendelum swing to get near, then go into s.L>s.M>s.H>c.H>S>A.M>A.M>A.H>S> Spikey ball hyper

Hm, Loose, what assist do you usually use on Super Skrull?

I like Stone Smite, since it hits OTG and wall bounce; which can be pretty handy. It does load up kind of slow, so I have to be really smart about where I time it and place him. I like to use the wall bounce because it usually pushes them back far and lets me regain some distance, and depending on the situation, you might be able to combo into something with it, or create a nice set-up with it.

I've had him with Tenderizer, but I don't usually call him out. I like it because of the pressure it provides, it also makes it easier to keep an opponent pinned in the corner and try some mix ups while the other guy is blocking Tenderizer.

I'm running three teams:

- HsienKo (Pendulum), Haggar (Lariat), Dormammu (Black Hole)
- C. Viper (Burning Kick), Super Skrull (Tenderizer), Dormammu (Black Hole)
- Shuma-Gorath (Mystic Ray), whichever of the above, Morrigan (Dark Harmonizer)

You all know Sentinel's nerf only means someone else will fill that Flavor of the Month slot and will get nerfed, right? Judging by the general QQs, Tron Bonne may be next in getting a health nerf, or Phoenix/Wolverine for being too gud in the hands of a competent player, or even Chun-Li/Skrull for their Lightning Kicks/Tenderizers.

Be warned, with the Flavor of the Month throne currently void someone will have to take it up, and nerfs will come to that character because THAT character will beat so many bad players. Scrubs shall ruin everything.

Sadfais.... It doesn't seem I've improved much at all since the 2nd day I got the game... can't even consistently beat hard mode bots and, albeit rare, sometimes lose to normal bots.....

Do you guys or the pros online use regular game controllers for the ps3 and 360? Or some joystick or something? :f6:

Well I've been looking around and come across the same, obvious answer pretty much everywhere. Fighting games are hard as pineapple to get really good at and take hours upon hours of practice, even just beating up a dummy and making your combos second nature...

Oh well, if there's that much work I'll have to put in, it should be rewarding when I finally get good at the game. I can put in a few hours of practice daily. Loose, mind if I add you on XBL?

Just hard mode? It's not too bad. I'd rate Hard CPUs as the normal level of "good" players. If you can somehow faceroll Very Hard CPUs, you're pretty much set for the majority of the entire online community.

Does the option for simple/normal controls go away after you acquire enough characters or get enough player points?

We'll just have to destroy them with every character under the sun until they finally get it through their thick heads that they're not very good, and they should stop trying to ruin the game for everyone who actually puts time into it. Or, we could convince the internet hate machine to mess with them.
