What would they do now? bring him back from the day to kill it again or something? lol.

Also: B> the 2 April Fools post of LoL homepage.

It's not "might just be", it pretty much is. They throw injokes/references in every once in a while for the older players (Lee Sin is something older players know well), the last good one I can remember is the question about Ashe cheating on Tryndamere with Pantheon where they talked about "mandropping"

That's your 2 cents, I just had to say mine.

Besides, where was there any mention of Maokai being Plant King reborn?
dante9898 Wrote:B means Back in like "GET YOUR ASS TO THE BASE RIGHT THIS INSTANT" or something alone those lines.
Call mias whenever someone of the enemy team in your line gets out of sight or something.
Revive suck don't take it ever!
Go with riot suggested items first but don't be afraid to buy new items.
Red characters in a skill description means it uses AD or Attack Damage. You get it by buying swords and what not.
Green characters in a skill des means it uses AP or Ability Power. Wands and what not are your way or getting those.
If you can put a point in your ultimate DO IT. Few champs can put points in their ult when they want but those are few.

Also don't be suicide and retire if you are low on hp-mana. Its better to lose a few exp while you recharge than feeding the enemy AND lose the exp for a while.

I've figured most of this out already but still thanks for the tips. I guess I really should focus more on the ultimates because now that I think of it I've really been kind of ignoring them...

Buy wards.

Wards?

KajitiSouls Wrote:1.) Do the tutorials. Very important!
2.) Do custom games vs. bots (not Coop vs. AI, that's much harder). You might want to have Soraka and Shen on your team if you find yourself dying a lot. Also, make sure they're not on the other team or you'll find your potential kills slipping away.
3.) Read all the learning center information! This can take a while...
4.) Play normal games. You'll most likely get matched up with other people as clueless/unskilled as you are.
5.) Read up on all the champions and items! No, I don't expect you to absorb everything in a day, or even a week.
6.) Repeat 2-5 as many times as you need to. You are definitely good to go if you can annihilate the bots without dying.

Don't forget to post your IGN. I'm willing to give you a few tips in-game and see where you need improvement.

1.) I did the first 2 tutorials, are there more that I've somehow missed or is that all?
2.) Is Coop vs. AI really that hard? I played like 10 games in the beginner Coop vs. AI mode, lost 2 out of the first 3 and then had 7 wins in a row, then I got bored and decided to check out PvP. Haven't done any other modes yet.
3.) Learning center information?
4.) Seems like a good idea.
5.) Is there any site with nice detailed information on characters and items? Like some kind of LoL wiki or something like that?

My IGN is wobbufet but I think I'm playing some kind of EU server...

Also I've been really focusing on pure offense, it's been working out pretty good but I guess it's not the perfect strategy when I'm playing against some smarter/more advanced opponents. I'd be very interested to hear about some setups you guys have used with succes.
Coop vs Ai is not hard at all if you know how to play. If you are bored of that mode then it is probably better to start playing real games because that's mainly the only way you will understand how to play in a real situation. Bots can only teach you so much. I don't think you really have to read up on all the champions and items either. Yeah it is good to have that knowledge but again you will only fully understand how things work if you play against people and start experimenting with different champions. As you play more against people, you will slowly learn one by one what, for example, a champion is capable of or what a certain item does when someone has it in your game.

How did you download the game...? o.O

Seriously, 3.) and 5.) are both on the same site as the download source, or should be.

And since you say you're from the Netherlands... I guess you would actually be on the EU servers. Sorry, I'm NA servers.

Haha, good point. I usually ignore the publishers site because it's often garbage but I guess it's worth giving a look...

The official league of legends website has a very good item database. Their forums have a handful of decent champion guides, along with a number of great general gameplay guides and explanations of game mechanics. Some very good general info here

For very, very in depth champion guides and skill information I head elsewhere.
I have a question. Whats Riot Stance on Custom skins? if they even have knowledge of it of course.
These videos are actually good for new players.

The fact that the video is most likely for the 1 minute video contests doesn't do the game much justice. They're fair guidelines, but ultimately to become better, you'll have to get a feel for what works and what doesn't, and adapt to the situation!

@dante
They don't have any official stance on custom skins, but most enjoy seeing new creations. They have taken user-made skins and given them credit however (see Fallen Angel Morgana). I don't think the users get any monetary compensation though.

I know, but the first video is fun IMO.

Edit: There's more to winning ofcourse, but these two are main factors IMO.

Disclaimer: TEAMPLAY consists of communication, good macro abilities (which has subqualities such as map awareness, reading the chat, checking exp levels, etc.), godly microing, good internet connection, and glitching.

At starting elo and/or low elo, TEAMPLAY is virtually non-existent. Mind as well get good at microing your champion.

This x1000.

I played tons of custom games with friends because i wasnt confident for normals....leveled up to like 20 and then i was never skilled enough for normal matches lol.

also...WHY THE HELL ISNT CASSIOPEIA FREE YET?
Eddikins Wrote:also...WHY THE HELL ISNT TWITCH FREE YET?

Fixed it for ya.

Also is it uncommon for non-Carry Champs to call someone a KSer? O_o
My game tonight, I double killed as Xin, and Nid called me a KSer. Granted we won easily, but still, these "KSer" comments always make me ponder lol
Carries can't KS, it's as simple as that.
If someone did all the work it's a bit douchy to last-hit but you aren't KS'ing, you are meant to get the kill/gold.

I already has twitch :3...

And eh maybe that Nid just wanted the kill so she had some gold for items. Nids usually solo right? Like ive said before though, i dont really see any issue with ksing as long as somebody kills an enemy champ.
